The next morning at 9:00 AM, i wake up from a peaceful sleep, stretch and head for the bathroom to get ready for the day. I stand at the sink and put toothpaste on my toothbrush and start brushing my teeth. Then i get in the shower and when i'm done, i'm now decked out in a red hawaiian shirt, blue jeans and a pair of men's flip-flops that's colored in black and i put my keycard, cell phone and my clip on wallet in my pocket before i head out for the day.
I stop at Guy's Burger Joint to get a hamburger because i'm hungry and after i eat it, i then head on over to the gym and get on a treadmill to run some laps, on the treadmill next to me is Jill, also running laps.
"Hello, Jill." I greeted.
"Hi, Jamaal." She responded, panting from the running she's doing and working up a sweat. "Exercising?"
"Yep."
"Me Too." I said, getting a little more buff. "Where's everybody?"
"Abby's at the spa, Mackenzie and Nia are at Camp Carnival. Maddie, Chloe and Paige are at a swimming pool, Brooke and Kendall are at the jogging track. The other moms are at the impressions bar." Jill replied to my question and 30 minutes later, i'm at the photo gallery admiring the photos as i'm staring at them.
"Hey." Mackenzie said in my direction, with Maddie behind her.
"Hi, Mackenzie. Hi, Maddie." I greeted back.
"They got some potato chips." I said.
"POTATO CHIPS?! Why didn't you say so?" Mackenzie grabs my hand and runs to the Fish & Chips restaurant as Maddie grabs my hand and runs as well.
"Whoa! Slow down!" I shouted as i'm being carried by the two girls.
Later on, around 8:45 PM, i'm looking out at the ocean and the night sky and moon illuminating the water with the reflection of the moon being shown and i take a picture. Then Abby comes up and stands next to me, also looking at the night sky as it's slightly windy.
"Hey, ALM." I greeted
"Weather's being weird, isn't it?" Abby asked me, as the wind began picking up and the clouds in the sky got darker and darker and covered up the moon, which gives an ominous answer to the question she asked me.
"Yeah, and with those dark clouds, that is not a good sign." I then stated and then, i see a lightning bolt flash in the sky and the waves begin to get rough, which signifies a huge storm that the ship is about to cross into.
"We better get back to your stateroom and get the dance team and their moms there too so we can figure out what to do in a situation like this!" Abby said and looked at me as we looked on.
"Let's." I agreed as we both headed back to my stateroom. Abby then rounded up Nick, Brandon, The Moms and The Girls to come in my stateroom 10 minutes later to see what was going to happen next, little do we know is that water started getting into the engine room.
"All right, everyone. The ship has sailed into a very bad storm." I said as everyone in the stateroom begins to have fearful looks.
"Miss Abby, are we gonna die?" Mackenzie asked, scared to death.
"No, we're not gonna die, whatever the captain tells us what to do, we'll follow the instructions." Abby instructed, then all of a sudden, a loud boom was heard that cause whole floor shook very violently as the lights flickered. The impact caused all of us to fall on the floor, when sirens were heard over the P.A., which catches our attention as we get up, the look on the girls' faces gives the hint as the sirens continued to sound
"Your attention please, Passengers, This is not a drill, i repeat, this is NOT a drill! The ship has just hit something, and the ship is starting to sink! Everyone to the lifeboats immediately!" The captain said over the intercom as the girls and moms begin to panic over the fact that the ship is starting to sink.
"Everyone, don't panic!" I yelled. "We're gonna get out of here very safely."
"How do you know?" Brooke asked me, crying.
"I've seen this on TV, first, they make an announcement about something like this and then passengers will grab their lifejackets
"All right, everyone! Grab the lifejackets!" Abby ordered as we obeyed and calmly grabbed lifejackets and had our personal belongings and clothes in waterproof bags that the crew gave us in case of a sinking ship. We then leave the stateroom and make our way toward the lifeboats.
"Remember, girls, stay close!" I commanded as we're making our way down the corridor, but ahead of us in the atrium, it was pandemonium as there were a lot of people crowding in there as the ship begins to get rocked violently by the rough waves as the crew have their lifeboats and a member of the crew notices Abby, the moms, and the girls.
"Are you Abby Lee Miller from dance moms? and those are the girls and their mothers?" The crew member asked.
"Yes." Abby replied.
"I'm a big fan of the show." He told us.
"Thanks for your support." Mackenzie smiled, then the crew member notices me. "Who's that guy?"
"This is my very good friend, Jamaal." Abby introduced me and i shook the crew member's hand.
"Nice to meet you." I replied.
"Nice to meet you too, i have a lifeboat ready for all of you, it's on the lobby level." He informed us.
"Thanks, all right girls, To The Lobby!" Abby shoted as we all run to the lobby level by running up the stairs as everyone is running to the lifeboats and when we reach the lifeboats, we get into the first one on the left. The lifeboat is sitting there with a paddle in it.
"Ladies first." I said as i let them pass.
"What a gentleman." Holly said as they got in and i got in last, the lifeboat we were on began to lower and just when it seemed that our lifeboat was about to land safely in the water, a lighting bolt struck the supports holding the boat in the air, making it fall as we screamed, holding on to each other and we land in the water with a splash.
"Whoa!" Melissa shouted as we were slightly flung into the air after landing in the water, but we still land in the boat.
"You girls ok?" Abby asked.
"We're fine, Miss Abby." Kendall responded as the storm began to clear up, showing the moon again.
"I think the storm is over now!" Chloe said.
"That's good to know!" Nia replied
"What do we do now?" Jill asked
"We've gotta row to find land." I stated as i handed them paddles to row the lifeboat and behind us, the ship was sinking very quickly as we see a bunch of people jump off the ship because all of the lifeboats were gone from the ship.
"Poor passengers." Mackenzie said, bowing her head as we prayed that they would make it off the ship safely.
"I'm cold, Mom." Paige said to Kelly.
"I'm cold, too. sweetie." Kelly responded to her daughter.
"I think it's all over." Abby stated, but just when things were looking good, it started to get very windy and from out of nowhere, a wave is approaching in our direction.
"IT'S A WAVE!" Maddie yelled.
"And it's coming this way!" Melissa shouted, the wave then somehow lifts the boat.
"Hold on!" Abby screamed, then the boat gets flung in the air as i bump my head against the side and then we black out....
