Since Damien D'Silva was not acting as a member of the police force when he shot Josh, he was to face charges of homicide.
However, D'Silva maintained that he had saved the lives of many by killing Joshua, and that he had no fear of the gallows, being a true patriot.

D'Silva woke up panting in the middle of the night.
The hearing was scheduled to be the next day. There were still five hours left for him to sleep.
Yet, D'Silva could not go back to sleep, how much ever be tried. Perhaps it was because of... the dream he had just seen.
He tried to remember what he had seen. It was difficult, but finally he remembered.
He had seen himself die on an electric chair.
In a rush, D'Silva walked up to his desk drawer and took out Joshua Anderson's diary.
He moved down to dream #44.
What he saw made him break out in a cold sweat. For in the description column was written one word:
"Electrocution."
