"Fabian?" Fabian shook his head and his sight was blurred, there was not much to see. All of it was pitch black. "Fabian?" A timid voice whimpered. He felt his wrists bound by rope, but he could feel another two hands pushed against his. "What?" He asked, "Who's there?" The voice belonged to a girl, it was familiar but he didn't recognize it. "R-Rose." She stuttered. "Where are we?" Fabian shuffled his hands. "I dunno. It all happened so fast." Fabian sighed and pulled at the ropes binding his hands.

A light shone from a doorway as it was opened. A figure stood in the doorway, laughed mockingly and tossed a knife to Fabian's feet. "See if you can get that." The figure left, slamming the door and flooding the room with darkness once more. "We need that knife." Rose said after a pause. "How you'd think we can get it?" He felt the back Rose's head lean into the back of his. "I've loosened the rope." He said tugging at the rope on his right hand. He pulled out his rope burned hand and seized the thick knife. He  twisted around and cut the remaining ropes around their hands. Rose sighed in relief and rubbed her wrists. "You okay?" She nodded. "Come on, let's go." Fabian pulled her to standing position and both of them walked towards the door apprehensively.

Rose twisted the door knob but it didn't open. "Great." Fabian smirked, he twisted the knife into the keyhole until it clicked. They opened the door and left cautiously. And surprisingly, they were still in Grimmauld place.

They heard voices from the kitchen.

"You did the right thing Lucius." A voice said quietly. Fabian's face flooded with disappointment. "So this grandson of yours-" A dog like snarl was heard, "He's no grandson of mine, he had a muggle mother, but you took care of her, didn't you Dolohov?" A small voice began whimpering, "Should I go and get the boy? If we torture that girl he might crack." Fabian's eyes widened, "Come on, move!" He whispered harshly. They crept up the stairs as they watched Peter Pettigrew emerge from the kitchen. Rose and Fabian searched in each room for family and friends, they found none of them.

"We need to get out of here." Fabian covered her mouth with a scratched hand, he pressed a finger to his mouth and then pointed at the door. A shadow was being cast from under the door. The shadow's left as Rose pulled Fabian's hand off her face.

They rooted around the room when Rose jumped as she looked up from a box of brushes. A tear was in front of her. "Fabian," She whispered, he crawled over to her. "A tear.......There might be weapons in there." He opened it carefully, there was an abandoned hotel. Wildlife bursting into it. No  sign of people. She stepped in and rooted around, Rose emerged, shaking her head.

They left the room and crept down the stairs Fabian clutching the knife. "Wait." She stuck an arm out in front of him. "Crabbe." A death eater was pacing along the corridor, connecting the exit and the kitchen. "Try and sneak by." It was successful for the first few steps. But he turned.

Fabian was clutching his knife and Crabbe had collapsed and a puddle of crimson blood was forming around his head. Rose looked as though she was about to cry, she didn't care for Crabbe but she had never seen someone die like that. Fabian pulled her by an arm and was unlocking the door when his grandfather was standing in the doorway, his wand pointing at them. Bellatrix stood next to him, clutching the scruff of Narcissa's clothes. She looked tearful, "Lucius, Lucius please. Don't do this." Fabian wheeled around with his hands up. Rose followed suit. "On your knees. Both." Bellatrix snarled. They both sank down and stayed as Lucius and Goyle stood behind the two. "Well, well-" This was caught short as Fabian he turned and stuck a knife in his grandfather's leg. He pulled it out and held it to his throat. Rose elbowed Goyle in the stomach and punched him in the jaw as hard as she could.

Fabian turned around. Bellatrix looked fearful but amused and dissapperated. Fabian eyed his grandfather and pushed his forearm into his throat almost strangling him. Fabian shook his head and twisted the knife into his right shoulder. Rose once again followed suit but she kicked Goyle in the knee.

Fabian left his grandfather to sink to the ground and hurried to his grandmother, she was cowering and holding a shaking hand over her mouth. "Lucius." She whimpered, her eyes locking on her husband's bleeding shoulder. She glared at Fabian.

"You. You did this." She snarled. Fabian frowned but Rose pulled him to the door.

She grabbed his forearm and they apparated.
