When we were heading back to the castle I heard something zip through the air. A dagger. I pushed Kawaii~Chan out of the way. No one was hurt badly. The dagger just grazed my cheek "Everyone alright?" I asked "Yeah." they all said "Okay, let's go." I said "Wait, can I speak with Aphmau alone, please?" Garroth asked "Sure, you guys go ahead" I said "Follow me." Garroth said He led me off the road into a field "So what do you want?" I asked "Please Aphmau your acting like a guard to everyone around you even me. Is this how you normally are? Or do you think I'm weak?" he asked "Neither. I think your perfectly capable but like I've said I was trained to be the best so I do what I was taught." I said "Okay, well ple-"He said "Wait, I sense a evil around us." I said I climbed a nearby willow tree and looked down at field I saw a body worming toward Garroth I pulled out my word and jumped down and ran in front of Garroth "No." I said. The person looked up he was our age but he was a shadow knight "What Aph-" "No." I said The person drew their sword and in 1 second stood up sword on my neck "Don't . You. Dare." Garroth said from behind me "Ha! Garroth! I didn't think you'd come to Phoenix Drop!" They said. I took my sword out and used it to flip their sword out of their hand "Not one step closer." I growled "Tut-tut little princess thinks she's so tough I'll show her some real combat." with that he stuck his sword at me and I stopped it just in time "Oh? Defense is your thing? Well I'm here for Garroth." he said "I'll never let you." I said "Oh the Princess defends her knight?" he said "Grr..." "Oh where are my manners? But you know me Aphmau it's Zenix." he said "ZENIX?! YOU WERE MY FRIEND?!" I yelled "Yes." he said.
Garroth's POV: She actually cares for me! That's so good to know because I care a little too much for her "Aphmau, stop this is not your battle, I'm YOUR guard you're not mine." I said "No, stop. He wants to hurt you I won't let him!" She yelled I pushed her and I took her place "GARROTH STOP NOW!" She yelled Zenix walked past me to Aphmau and picked her up bridal style she struggled and he punched her out and ran "COME BACK! I WILL KILL YOU FOR THIS!" I yelled "Please..."
Zenix's POV: I ran to the nether portal Garroth yelling behind me I jumped through "You've got her?" "Yes." "Do it then." I broke the portal put her down on the ground and took out my sword cut a heart on her cheek and then stabbed her. My old friend. My love.
