Alisha's P.O.V
The next morning we woke up and got ready for school. Josh said he would take me instead of driving my own car. I went along with it because I was tired since I had a nightmare. It was about me and Zack. Shocker! Not!
~Nightmare~
"Hey Ughlisha!" Zack says.
I don't say anything. I just ignore him like I always do. Why does he bug me so much?
"So where are we going today? Woods? Alley? Cave? I decided it was only fair to give you the option today on where to beat you up," he says.
How considerate of him! Jerk.
"Are you gonna ignore me?" He asks. I could hear the anger in his voice.
No sheez Sherlock!
"You know what I'm capable of," he says grabbing my arm. I get whipped around and turned to face him.
"Let go!" I say through gritted teeth.
"Oh so now you talk?" He says with a smirk.
"Let go!" I say again.
"No!" He says.
On instinct I kick him in the shin and then punch him in the jaw. When he lets go of my other hand I punch him in the stomach and then kick him in the stomach too.
"Oh so you're fighting back now are you?" He says. I stay silent.
What did I just do? Now he knows my secret. No! Please no!
"Silent again? Well, we'll see about that," he says and lunges towards me.
~End of nightmare~
I shot up after that and was breathing heavily.
When we were downstairs, we skipped breakfast and went straight for Starbucks. I got a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Then we headed back to school.
"So you wanna tell me about your nightmare?" Josh ask.
"What?" I say.
"Don't play dumb with me, I know you had a nightmare last night," Josh says. "So what was it?" He say and stops in his tracks.
"Uh would you believe it was on the end of the world?" I ask.
"Nope. Not for a second," he says. I sigh.
"It was about Zack," I say.
"Someone talking about me? I knew you still liked me," Zack says from behind me.
I jump and turn around. Josh comes in front of me and glares at Zack. I don't see him glaring but I know he is. I peek from behind him and Zack catches my stare.
"Get away from her," Josh says. At this point we got a crowd. I knew at any second now people would start changing "Fight! Fight! Fight!" So I had to get them away from each other.
"Why? We are best friends," Zack says. That ticked me off.
"Pshh best friends? Oh no! We lost that a long time ago when you beat me up in my house! And then left me there after calling me fat, ugly and other words that I shouldn't use! So don't think I can ever call you my best friend again. You are not the boy who was my best friend. Nor the guy I liked. No. You are a monster," I snarl and walk away.
I heard "oohs" and "you just got served" and "burn" from behind me and I felt satisfied. I heard footsteps coming from behind me. Probably Josh. But I was wrong. It was Zack. He turns me around and puts his hands on my shoulders and shoves me. I put one of my hands on his and flip him. He falls to the ground and groans.
