This is an idea I've been toying with for a while, I hope you like it! :)
Inspiration for this is Ignorance by Paramore who's video is over there, yunno, to the right :)
This is set a few months after the battle, yes, the golden Trio are back at Hogwarts even when they should have finished school the year before but if you read on you will find out a logical (I hope) reason for them to be there :D

"Leave me alone you insufferable toerag!" I yelled into his face.
"You say that like I want to be near you in the first place you filthy little mudblood!"
"Oh, come up with some new insults twat!"
I slammed the compartment door, rattling the windows in their frame behind me before turned to face my friends.
"Blimey Millie, what's wrong?" My red haired freckled friend asked.
"Nothing just... He's so bloody annoying!"
Ron turned to the other two. "Who?" He whispered. Harry looked just as confused but Hermione just rolled her eyes and mouthed 'Malfoy'.
I sat down opposite them, pretending not to notice their 'sly' conversation. I balled my fists and my nails dug into my palms. I took a few deep breaths in, trying to calm down, and failing miserably. What was his problem?
The door to the compartment opened again and and Ginny, Neville and Luna stood in the doorway.
"Hey, guys," Ginny smiled before sitting next to Harry and clutching his hand. Yup, those two were still going strong.
Neville and Luna sat down next to me. Those two weren't quite there yet, they were both so shy around each other that none of them seemed to be able to say the right words.
I stared out of the window. Everything was identical, yet so much had changed. The battle had made sure of that. Even though I should have had my seventh year last year, because of the war all students were invited to redo their last year. Also, McGonagall sent a letter to Harry, Ron and Hermione, pleading them to come back in the hope that others would do the same. Hermione practically begged me to come back so it wouldn't just be her in the dorm so I finally gave in. Secretly, I was glad to be back at Hogwarts. Even if it was different, there was a sense of family that you didn't get in other places.
The 'advanced' students, as they were now called, would all share their own common room, regardless of house, but thankfully I would still be sleeping with Hermione and all of the other Gryffindor girls. The whole advanced class was supposed to encourage 'house unity' or something but I would still be allowed to play for the Gryffindor Quiddich team, thank god!
Luna poked me in the side, interrupting my thoughts. "What are you looking at Millie? The Umgubular Slashkilter?"
"Err, yeah Luna. That."
"They're really quite beautiful aren't they, the colours on it are really something!"
Everyone exchanged a look.
"I think we should get changed into our robes now," said Hermione hurriedly, "but I think some of us should maybe change in the bathrooms. Maybe two of us. You know just two of us, two girls..."
She nodded at me slightly and widened her eyes.
"Have you something in your eye Mione?"
She sighed exasperated. She made a jerky motion towards the door with her head.
"Oh right."
"Wait, where are you two going again?" Ron asked, confused.
"To change?" I answered.
"Both of you, together, in the same cubicle?" He smiled. "Can I watch?"
Hermione giggled but I rolled my eyes.
"That would be a no," I said, dragging Hermione away and slamming the door shut again.
"You really need to work on your slyness by the way." I turned to face her.
She stared at me, eyebrows raised.
"What?"
"What we you and Draco arguing about this time?"
"Nothing, he thought I was ugly or my blood wasn't pure enough, we don't need a reason to start arguing."
You two are unbelievable! I mean, you argue over nothing..."
"He started it!"
"... Must be the Scottish in you."
I gave her a flat look. "Opening the racist door are we?"
"What?"
"Mock the Week? Frankie Boyle? Nothing? You need to get out more..."
"Whatever. Just, it's a new year! The war is finished, we should be celebrating, not arguing! Just... try.
I sighed. "I'll try but I'm not promising anything," I warned.
"Fine! Just, try."
With that Hermione stalked off towards the bathrooms at the end of the train.
I shut my eyes and groaned, leaning my head against the wall behind me. Being civil to Malfoy? Like that was ever going to happen.
"I hope you're not groaning because of me."
I didn't even have to open my eyes to see who it was. I could almost hear the sneer in his voice as his footsteps came nearer.
"What do you want Malfoy?" I sighed, opening my eyes.
"I couldn't help but over-hear you." He said, stepping closer.
I laughed."Yeah, right."
"It's not like I wanted to listen to your petty conversations" He spat.
"Well isn't one's head stuck up one's arse."
"Excuse me?" He walked ever closer.
I eyed him suspiciously. "Come any nearer and I'll kick your coin purse back into your body."
He was mere inches away, grey eyes bore into my deep green ones."Don't you speak to me like that."
"Or what," I whispered. I could feel his sweet breath on my face and I looked at his lips as I spoke.
"You could find yourself in a very dangerous situation Summers..."
His lips slowly made their way towards mine and my breath caught in my throat. Just at the last second he turned his head and whispered into my ear.
"Stay away from me."
With one last glare, he turned on his heel and stalked down the corridor. I heard the thump of a door sliding shut.
I changed my robes with a flick of my wand and went back into our compartment but couldn't seem to get one thought out of my head.
Draco Malfoy was going to kiss me.
And in that moment, I had really wanted him to.
