Chapter 4

RECAP:

" You will, babe!!! I have heard about your lies, “ My dad was an engineer he died from heart attack. He left us ample money to live a good life. We live in outskirts because it has less pollution, more nature." He mimicked me.

I turned red, they sounded so bad but what, I could not tell them about my past.

"Please don't reveal them", I begged.

He had the look of satisfaction on his face. He had won," Then do what I want".

That was the limit; it was too much in very less time. I knew it would be long and difficult phase. I already had problems and I lied about my life to make things worse for myself.

I could hardly focus in classes. It was all too much for me in very less time. I had told so many lies about my life and now Jake was there. He would to use this weakness against me. I hated him more than anything. The stress was all too much.

To top it off, K was telling me how this Jake is SO HOT. I wish I could tell her what a devil, blackmailer he is.

Then suddenly K mentioned something I had totally forgotten, " you have to meet Ryon today at cafe right?"

"oh" this was all I could say.I had completely forgotten, I was so lost in my thoughts.

"you have been very dreamy lately, you know it's Ryan Davis we are talking about".

During lunch time,I was sitting with K looking at people eat. If only I could buy stuff to eat, may be next month when I will get wages from both my jobs.

"you are perfectly thin, then why do you do dieting?" K said eating the delicious looking noodles.

I lied, saying "I have a tendency to gain weight quickly".

"Yeah but there is a difference between healthy and starved".

Just then Jake appeared and sat beside K, so he faced me," Hi Anne! missed me?"

Anger rose in me, as much as I hated him that close he came.

K looked surprised, she looked at ne then at Jake, saying" You guys know each other! I did a whole speech and you did not tell him you know him".

Before I could answer Jake cut me off," Now now Anne, you did not introduce me to your friend!" He turned to K and said" We used to be in the same school, we are family friends and grew up together, Anne was my girl before she moved here".  

At this point he looked at me from the corner of his eye,expecting a reaction.

K on the other hand looked at me and said "You never told me you had a boyfriend".

I shrugged taking things calmly, although I knew it would be around seconds and replied,"I didn't think it was necessary and it has been a day since I met you and you seem to like him so much and he single....you know, it would be no use telling stories of past".

It was now my turn to smirk. I had opened up a. new prospect before K that she can date him. Jake looked disturbed, I knew he would not quit.

"But first love always remains...by the way, you are not 'eating'."He said, changing the subject while looking at me.

K answered it for me, telling him that I am on diet.

Jake laughed quietly before he became serious," That's ridiculous!, since when do you diet".
