Pool Day!

"You're sure you don't mind, Levy-chan?" Lucy asked in concern.

"I'm fine. I'm not really in a swimming mood anyway." Levy replied. "And there isn't much else to do, what with this rain."  She gestured towards the window. It was still pouring rain out.

"Yeah..." Lucy agreed sadly.

"Besides, Gajeel will be able to rest easier if Natsu isn't in the room making a racket." The two girls laughed.

"I'm worried about Juvia." Lisanna walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed. "I've never seen her so depressed before."

"Yeah..." Levy said.

"Think that's what's causing the rain?" Lucy asked.

"Probably. And that probably makes her even more depressed."

"Well, I hope some time at the pool helps. Have fun."

"Aren't you coming, Lisanna?" Lucy asked curiously.

"I'm feeling a little under the weather, so I'm keeping Levy company. Just like Lily is keeping Gajeel company."

"Okay. See you guys later~!"

"Bye~!"

"There you are Lucy!" Mira accosted the blond. "Where were you?"

"Making sure Levy-chan didn't mind us going without her."

"Ah."

"I'm all fired uuuuuuuuuup!"

"Natsu, no running!"

"But I wanna ride the water slide! Luce, c'mon!"

"Okay, okay! You don't need to pull!"

Mira surveyed the scene with pride. NaLu was riding the slide together, Rowen was splashing in the shallower end, Happy was trying to convince Charla to sit on his floaty ring with him, Jerza had claimed a foam 'island' and Erza was calling for a challenger, Elfman was trying to answer while Evergreen blocked him, Laxus and the rest of the Thunder Tribe were teasing ElfGreen for their flirting, Asuka was playing with another little girl in the kiddie pool while her parents watched, Cana was flirting with guys nearby, Jet was impressing kids with his speed, Droy caused a tidal wave when he fell in, and Wakaba, Macao, and Makarov were reclining near a fake palm tree. In other words, Fairy Tail was having fun without destroying anything and the ships (including the smaller ones) were progressing nicely.

All except one.

"Really!" Mira fumed to herself. "I can't believe Gray hasn't comforted Juvia by now!" I haven't done anything because I thought the problem would be solved by now, but maybe that was the wrong path to take... I want to make them happy, not sad! Juvia is so depressed, she's started making it rain again! "Honestly Gray! Do something! You thick-headed-! Urgh!" Mira threw up her hands in frustration. Then she sighed and sat down on a nearby pool chair. Think, Mira, think...what to do, what to do...

Unbeknownst to her, several teen boys were eyeing her hopefully, obviously quite taken with the silver-haired beauty. One of them had appeared to pluck up his courage and started forward, when...

"Oi, Mira." Laxus called, sauntering over with Freed in tow.

"Yes, Laxus?" Laxus shot a glare over his shoulder and the few boys that hadn't slunk away already, took off.

"You could be more aware." He grumped, turning his gaze back to Mira.

"Hmm? About what?"

"Never mind..."
