ashley's pov

i slowly got out of bed. sun was shining out of the window, i groaned as my feet hit the cold wood floor.
i guess today was the day, yaaaaaaaaaay time to move to north carolina.

i sighed as i thought of leaving all my amazing friends i've made in florida. why'd we have to move to north carolina anyways.

" ash you up hun? start packing. " my mom said outside my bedroom door.
i groaned again & decided to shower.

i was wearing a white crop top, pastel pink skater skirt, & a black kimono with pastel pink flowers. ( her outfit is the picture above )

i started packing. while i was packing, i came across a picture of me & this kid that had black kind of curly hair, big nostrils & greenish eyes. i placed it in the box.

after 3 hours of packing, we were ready to hit the road. my older sister, karlee was crying. she had to leave her friends & her boyfriend. they were dating for 3 years. she's 17.

my dad was driving while mom was sleeping. i put on headphones & played music. i fell asleep.

hayes pov

i was so excited for the people next door moving in. finally we can have a fresh start & my parents can become friends with them.

as i was cleaning my room i found a picture of me & this girl when we were little. at the edge of the picture it said hayes & ashley. who's ashley?

she had brown hair & looked weird.
whatever, i put the picture frame on my nightstand. i threw on a black huf shirt & khaki shorts & some black & green huf socks.

i looked out my window & saw a car pull up to the new house.

ashley's pov

i woke up once we pulled up to the new house. it was how mom & dad said how the house looked like. a huge pool, big ass living room, 3 floors & 6 bedrooms.

😻‼️‼️ we all unpacked. i picked the 3rd biggest room. i put my white bed in the middle of the room. i hung up my band & lana del ray posters up on the side of my bed wall.

i also hung up white christmas lights on  the top of the walls. i was starting to love my room already.

after i set up the wifi & my computer. i ran to get the door. i fixed my hair then opened the door. there were these two boys.
" Hi my name is Hayes "
" My name is Nash we're your neighbors "
" We just wanted. Well I wanted to welcome a beautifu girl like you to north carolina " Hayes said then winked.

i laughed, " hi, my names ashley "
" so our mom would like to know if you want to babysit our little sister, our parents know your parents " nash said

" sure " i said. " hold on, i need to grab my phone " i said & followed them to their house. i took off my shoes.
hayes & i were talking.

" wanna play 20 questions? " he asked. i nodded.
" how old are you " he said.
"15, wbu? "
" 15 too! " he said
" what do you like to do on your free time "
" pennyboarding or play football, wbu " he said

" netflix, pennyboarding & basketball "
his phone was ringing. i saw his screen light up saying, ' Nicole❗️❣' " hold on i need to take this if you dont mind " he said

" go ahead " i said & i smiled, he smiled back. his smile is so cute.

i sat on the sofa with his little sister skylynn, we were playing dolls😂😂

i overheard hayes yelling on the phone, his last words on the phone call was " WERE DONE " he walked into the living room with his head down crying.

his head was on my lap while he was crying. i was playing with his hair.

" it'll be okay hayes it's just a girl. " i said.
" not just a girl, i loved her & she used me " he said sobbing
" i feel like i've known you forever " he said.
" so do i. " i said

" hayes, i found a picture of me & a little boy who looks like you. " i said
" can i see it? " he asked.
i showed him a picture from my phone that i took of.

" hey! i have the same one! " he ran up the stairs to grab the picture frame

he came down a minute later. " ashley, youre the girl. i... i liked you when we were younger but you moved.. we were best friends " he said

i hugged him & he hugged me back. 💗💗

" i remember you hayespoo " i said
" ashpoo " he said & we both laugh.

he looked me in the eyes, i did too.
he leaned in & so did i. but then their front door opened. we both moved our heads & tried to act natural.

it was his parents. " thank you for watching sky for us ash " elizabeth said hugging me & handing me 50$

i smiled. " thank you " i said.
i went up to hayes room. " well i'm
going to go home " i said.
as i opened his door & tried to leave.

he grabbed my waist. " wait " he shuts the door. my back is against his door. he kisses me & ofc i kiss back.
we both pull out & hug.

we both exchanged phone numbers. &
said bye.

i went home & changed into my basketball jersey & shorts.
i turned on my christmas lights &
turned off my light.

my phone went off.
" sexy ass bitch😻 - goodnight i love you ashley " i smiled at his text & name i was blushing.

i replied back, good night sexy ass bitch i love you hayes💗 "
