For 2 years now I had been non existent at school, I had no friends and everyone treated me as if I wasn't there. Until today, as Nash Grier, the most popular boy at school, sat with me at lunch.
I had never imagined anyone sitting with me at all but for Nash to sit with me, was unheard of. He placed his tray of food on my table and swung one leg over the bench,
"What's your name?" he whispered, his breath tickling my neck.
"May" I stuttered, shocked that he's talking to me,
"Why are you sitting on your own May?" he says firmly,
"Because I have no friends" I say, looking down at my lap and fiddling with my hands.
He looks me dead in the eye and says,
"Im going to introduce you to my friends" as he takes my hand and drags me to his usual table.
His table includes Cameron Dallas, Hayes Grier, Nash Grier, Aaron Carpenter, Matthew Espinosa, Taylor Caniff, Carter Reynolds, Shawn Mendes, Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky and Mahogany Lox.
I instantly took a liking to Mahogany, with her bright ginger curly hair, and perfectly placed cat ears on top of her small head. She was insanely pretty and had dark brown eyes, I knew we were instantly gonna be real good friends. Nash introduces me to everyone
"This is May, she had no one to sit with so I invited her to sit with us"
"I hope you don't mind" I add trying to be polite, everyone says it's fine so I sit down in between Mahogany and Shawn and bite into an apple.
"So" Mahogany starts.. "Where are your friends today?" She questions with raised eyebrows and perky smile.
" I.. er.. kinda don't have any friends." I stutter out and look back at her, she looks really shocked and pulls me into a massive hug,
"It's okay you can hang out with us for as long as you like" a small smile creeps out of the corners of my mouth as I hug her back.
Later that day, I'm walking to my locker when I see Mahogany hanging out by my locker with one leg leaned against the wall. I run over to her and she greets me with a hug,
"I wanted to see if you were busy today" she smiles at me, " we could go see a movie with all the boys, and we could all get to know you a bit better" she adds. I think for a while but think what the hell
"Yeah sure I need to to home to change first" I reply
"Sure do you want me to give you a ride" Mahogany asks
"If you don't mind" I say as I get my books out my locker and shove them into my bag,
"Are you ready?" She questions,
Ready as I'll ever be.....
