Jack ran around the room giggling as he went wild. Mark threw his pillow over his face and let out an unamused grunt. Jack chuckled and rolled his eyes as he skipped over to marks bed. He leaned over Mark causing him to balance on top of the older boy. Mark nudged and Jack ended up falling head over heels onto the floor. Jack bounced back up and giggled. "Come on marki! Let's have fun." Jack pleaded as he leaned atop of Mark. "Jack it's 3 am go to sleep." Mark grunted from under his pillow. He shoved Jack off of him and rolled to the other side. Jack frowned and stood up. "I'm sorry Mark, I'm just stupid..." Jack muttered. Mark thought nothing of it and returned to sleep.
The next morning~9:41 am.
Mark stretched as he woke up. He let out a sigh as he sat up. He shoved his glasses on and looked to his right. He raised an eyebrow when he noticed that Jack was gone as well as the small green blanket he had brought with him. "Jack?" Mark called. No response, Mark got out of bed and walked over to Jack's bed. Maybe he had rolled off the bed? No. Mark searched the room but found no Jack. He walked around the house but he still couldn't find Jack. "Maybe he had to leave early?" He thought to himself. Mark shrugged and walked into the kitchen, he spotted something out of the corner of his eye as he passed the window. A wide grin plastered across his face as he walked outside. He giggled as he stood over a small Jack laying on his blanket on the grass. "Goof." Mark whispered as he picked the smaller boy up as well as the green blanket. He carried Jack inside and lay him down on the couch. He giggled as Jack shuffled in his sleep. Mark decided to watch tv for a while, he presumed Jack needed the sleep.
Later~4:23 pm.
Mark felt movement to his right, he looked over to see Jack stretching. Jack had a confused look in his face as he scanned his surroundings. "Mark? Why am I on the couch?" He asked his voice groggy. Mark chuckled. "Well I got a heart attack this morning when you just magically disappeared! I walked into the kitchen and saw you asleep in the garden!" Mark said giggling. Jack rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry Mark I didn't mean to fall asleep, I just kinda did... I'm sorry I'm just so stupid.." Jack said rubbing his face. Mark was shocked, Jack was normally the cheerful little boy who had enough joy and energy for the whole world. "Jack why do you keep saying your stupid?" Mark asked worry placed in his voice. "Because that's what they tell me, and I am stupid I don't even understand half of the things we learn in class, I'm just stupid.." Jack mumbled. Mark felt his jaw drop to the floor. "Jack who says that?" He asked. "Everybody in the class..." Jack muttered. "Jack your not stupid, sure you might not understand some things but that doesn't make you stupid." Mark said placing a hand on Jack's shoulder. "Yes it does Mark! I am stupid your just lying!" Jack yelled before he buried his head in his lap and started to cry. "No Jack being mean and insulting people makes you stupid.." Mark said. Jack looked up at him with bloodshot glassy eyes. "Y-ya think?" He whispered. Mark nodded and pulled Jack into a loving embrace.
Later~5:12pm
Mark looked down at Jack who had fallen asleep in his arms. He scanned over his features. His neon green hair, his soft, pale skin, his slightly defined cheek bones, his delicate lips. "I love you." Mark whispered holding Jack a little closer. What Mark didn't expect was a reply. "Love you too Markimoo." Jack said sitting up slightly in marks warm embrace. Mark felt his face heat up as Jack smirked at him. "You weren't supposed to hear that." Mark said rubbing the back of his neck. Jack giggled and looked up into marks eyes. "But I'm glad I did."
