Ahhh, this theory is my favorite of them all, the reason I start here is because I have real good proof that Cyd and Shelby (even in the past) still had a chance of being together. Now for starters in the episode "Shake Your Booty" aka S1 Ep7 Cyd and Shelby went back to 1978 the disco years, and also the year that gay clubs were officially a thing. Now I know for a fact that they are in 1978 because Barry mentions it somewhere near the end of the episode... Now disco music started in 1975 (or at least it wasn't exactly in 1978) now I know the whole idea of Cyd and Shelby ending up in the 70s was because of Naldo's dads band but only the creators and writers could have chose his dad's band to be a thing in 1978... You get my point? Now all I'm saying is that not only could Cyd and Shelby (if apart of that time) could've dated but this also means the creators might have something in mind for hopefully Cyd and Shelby and of course Naldo and Barry
