A bright summers day, bursting with life begins; Joseph and Marie, still living together, start their day as normal. Joseph wakes up early to shower because he likes to wash on a morning; Marie enjoys showering on a night time. She feels more relaxed for sleep that way. Marie wakes up at 8 o'clock for breakfast. Joseph cooks her poached eggs, fried bread and honey fried bacon. She always said it was her favourite. She came down the stairs to the very potent smell of Joseph's cooking. "Hey Joe! What's cooking? I hope it's my favourite!"
"It is! But you need to hurry, you're going to be late for work. Angela will be by soon"
Marie sat down and ate her breakfast. Then came a knock at the door. It was Angela, she was here to pick up Marie. "Hey hoe! It's bloody Chucking it down! You gonna invite me in?!" Angela screamed. "Never mind" Angela shouted as she forced open the Living Room window and lunged through it. "ANGIE! You have a key for a reason! God damn it!" Joseph squealed
"Oh yeah... Haha! You ready for work Marie?"
"Yeah sure- just let me get my things"
Marie began to collect her things and said bye to Joseph, leaving him in the house alone.

Joseph was walking to school when he stumbled upon a book; a dark walnut leather bound book. Wondering what it was he picked it up and put it into his back pack. Leaving it for later. Then... As if by magick, it began to snow. In the middle of summer?! And then it got heavier... And heavier... Until it was a freak snow storm. Joseph began sprinting home when he tripped, splitting open his bag. Letting the strange book fall out. Joseph tried to pick up all of his stuff when the books pages began turning rapidly until it reached a page entitled 'Let it Snow- Ice Magick'. He skimmed and scanned the page until he saw a phrase 'Melt the snow and freeze the storm, make the weather surrounding me calm'. Joseph looked at the book an questioned if he was crazy for believing in its power. He didn't care how crazy he looked anymore, he decided to say it. He decided to say the words in the book. "Melt the snow! Freeze this storm! Make the weather surrounding me calm!" Joseph recited
The snow storm slowed down... It calmed... The snow on the ground began to melt... Joseph then realised... He had cast a spell... He ran home, leaving everything but his camera and the book; his heart beating out of his chest and his mind racing.

Stumbling into the house, Joseph ran over to the table; placing the book on it. "Well... What the hell are you?!"
