Chapter 17

"We're going to Brooklyn! To visit Sadie Lee and Bella!" Noah says excitedly, grinning from ear to ear.
My mouth literally drops to the floor 'WHAT?!' I say squealing and jumping up and down like a very hyper frog. "When are we leaving?"
"Tonight " Noah says with a flourish
"TONIGHT!" I say in shock as I dash up stairs, pull down my suitcase from the top shelf of my wardrobe and frantically, start to pull out items of clothing from my draws, off hangers and even rooting in my laundry basket.

Finally, after 20 minutes of dashing around my room, I've managed to create a pretty good basis and constructed 4 outfits

Outfit 1:
-knitted jumper
-scarf
-ugg boots
-trench coat

Outfit 2:
-graphic tee
-skater skirt
-white converse

Outfit 3:
-retro blouse
-denim pinafore
-tights
-ankle boots

Outfit 4:
-black lace crop top
-black jeans
- black leather jacket
- biker boots

I flip down on my bed and let out a huge sigh of relief, immediately as if on cue, Noah walks in smiling. 'Hi how's packing?' He asks sitting down next to me, moving some items of clothing on the process.

'I'm fine, actually, no . I'm great!'
'I'm so excited to share more of my home with you'
'I can't wait to see Sadie and Bella and New York again!'
Noah turns to face me ' put something comfy on to travel in, I'll pick you up at 6, ok?'
I nod ' okay I'll be ready for then'
He quickly kisses me on my forehead then he's gone.

I change into some black leggings, my Ugg Boots and a tank top with tartan scarf and knock to see if Elliot's home, he immediately comes round to my knocks.

'Hello, princess P' he says walking in-every day I swear his style gets more elaborate. Today he's rocking ; a baseball cap, trench coat, pinstripe pants and a cravat! Before I can say a word he stops me ' Yes, I know it's your birthday, and yes I've got you something'. He produces a small Silver box, inside contains half a heart that says

'Be
Fri'
'Um Ell what's this supposed to mean?' I look at him questionably. From under the cross hatched cravat he produces another half of the heart, when put together say best friend . 'Elliot thank you ! I love it!' I exclaim hugging him '
'And that's not all' he says  turning them round, on the back of mine there is an E and on his a P. 'To show our initials' he says grinning

I hug him again when there's a knock on the door that startles us. In walks Noah, with his suitcase.

'Well...... This is it' I think 'Penny Porter is going back to New York!'
