As daze go by

Its been 2 weeks since the bird spoke to me and I have yet to find the Taylor Davis person and google searching her brought up too many people to know who she really was. The longer I go without finding this girl or having another bird speak to me the longer I don't believe the encounter really happened. I'm awoken from my thoughts by my teacher clearing her throat. My eyes being the last pair to dart up, wander over to the two strangers standing in the front of the room, "Class I'd like to introduce you to our two new students, Cameron and Taylor Davis"

...No shit.

"Why don't you tell the class a little bit about yourselves and why you moved here" the teacher finished.

"ok um hi we are, we were from central Vermont we are both twins, obviously not identical" all the girls giggled as the brother of the two rambled on "we are both 17 our birthday is April 23rd every school we have been to we both have been the quarterback on the football team and the cheer captain so watch out for us" he said as he ended with a wink.

she seemed so shy how am I going to trust someone who clearly has trust issues of her own.

"Thank you for that now it looks like there are only two seats left in class but there aren't next to each other is that alright?" the brother gave a proud yep and the sister gave a meek smile and a small nod of the head.

"Perfect, Cameron why don't you go ahead and sit by Mandy, Mandy raise your hand" oh joy, i reluctantly raised my hand and to my surprise the sister started walking over to me, she sat down and said," Hi I'm Cameron but please call me Cammy, Cameron sounds way more boyish, can't believe my parents gave me a boy name, is Mandy short for anything?" I was already starting to like her "Um yeah actually my real name is Amanda but so is my best friends so I'm just Mandy." I say with a smile "oh neat hey are you doing anything for lunch because on the way here I saw the cutest little cafe and I thought it would be fun to go there it could be like our place, of course, we'd have to skip 5th period when we go but who cares, and you can bring Amanda!"

And just like that, I gained a best friend her brother on the other hand I felt was going to be a little more difficult. But on the bright side it doesn't look like Cammy is as shy as I thought she was going to be, maybe she just has major stage fright.
