I woke up in Bryce's arms he was fast asleep and his hand were wrapped protectively around my waist.
I tried to wiggle out of his grasp but he was too strong.
" Bryce " I said pinching his cheeks softy.
His eyes flew open "Mmm " he said softly obviously still asleep
" Your hand its uncomfortable"
I motioned to his hand he quickly removed it .
He got up and so did I heard the sound of footsteps and the door flew open with a bang.
There was a man standing the he was panting uncontrollably and his shirt was covered with sweat.
" B- Bryce there coming " said between pants .
" You mean there coming " Bryce said angrily his hand were now balls of fists.
The man was now on his feet bowing to Bryce " Yes the Blood Moon pack is on their way and they have the girl's mother"
What they have my mom!!
Bryce was silent as if he was processing what the wolf had just said.
" Very well Don get the warriors we will join you shortly"
Don got up from the floor and was about the leave when Bryce spoke
" Donwhere is the -Alpha? " he said the last word as if he was choking.
" We don't know we have been searching for him but the was no where to be found"
Bryce nod his head indicating for him the leave.
There was silence in the room and I saw Bryce's muscle tense in his shirt.
" Br-"
I was cut off by a low growl
" Kathy I want you to stay inside and don't go out no matter what " his voice was deadly calm .
" Answer me " he yelled .
I was startled by his outburst and nodded .
He turned around his eyes we're now calm he came closer and help my chin so I was looking in his bright blue eyes.
" Kathy promise me you won't leave the house" his voice was filled with concern.
"Yes I promise " I gave him my don't worry smile.
I was surprised when he drew me into a tight hug he Laid his head in the corner of my head and I felt his breath against my ear." Don't want to lose you" we whispered.
What what did he just say.
He abruptly stopped the the the hug and walked to the door when he was about to open it he stopped and turned around I was still standing there with shock on my face.
" Don't leave the house " he said and he turned and left.
