Dakota's POV
The twins run off. They try to make sharp turns and get away but they eventually give up and take me to what looks like a small run down shop. I walked in and looked at all of the odd things on shelves and behind glass. They even have some illegal drugs I think. "What is this place?" I say looking around. "It's our home" "we started living here when our old home was burnt down" the other says. Once they get to a room they look at each other and open the door and they both walk in, I follow looking around in the room once I got in. Candles and a little bit of the moonlight from a curtain with a rip in it lit the room. On the shelves set bottles of strange colored liquids and charms of sorts. One pulls a drawer open and pulls out a old looking paper, "this is all he gave us" he handed the paper to me "not much detail about what it does" I read through it "thank you, you two" I said "mind if I keep this?" They just smiled "not at all, we don't have any need for it" I nod and fold it and put it in my pocket "do you know anyone who might know more about this charm?" I asked after making sure the note was safely in my pocket "well, we do know someone..." They looked at each other "I dunno, the dude kinda creeps me out" the other said with a shiver. I raised a brow "who is he? Where can I find him?" They stay quiet for a few moments "hold on" one says and they both walk out and shut the door. All I could hear outside was whispers then "but what if he finds out?!" "Shhhh, he won't, we will just help this guy and he won't find out" the voices grew quiet again to only mumbles that I can't understand "he? Who is he?" I quietly asked myself. Maybe that guy they gave the charm to earlier. After a few minutes they walked back in "okay, we can take you to him" I nod and they lead me out of the small house and down a street.
After about 20 minutes of walking we arrived at a small shop with a sign that read 'Palm reading, card ready and physic reading' on the glass door another sigh read 'Closed'. They twins didn't seem to care and pull a key out unlocking the door and walking in. I walk in, the shop smelled like cinnamon and other spices. On a desk set burning incense, one of the twins steps up and hits the bell on the desk "Hey! Anyone home?" Almost immediately after I heard footsteps "Coming!~" a voice called, a man walked in, he didn't look to old nor to young, he looks maybe in his late teens early twenties. He looked about five three, black hair covers his eyes and as he walks closer I noticed that he had bandages around his eyes.
He didn't have a shirt, he had necklaces and jewelry around his arm, henna tattoo's cover his arms. His pants looked soft and baggy, he had a purple cloth wrapped around his waist with gold jewelry attached at the end. The back of his hair was short and one part under a layer of hair was in a ponytail while the front had long pieces of hair on each side that reached to the middle of his neck and his bangs were just long enough to cover his eyes. He walked up the the three of ups and extended his hand "pleased to meet you", I shook it with a small smile "Names Jessy" he said with a wide grin on his face "Dakota" I said, I couldn't help but smile, I don't know why I'm smiling, maybe it's his cheerful character that has put me in such a good mood. "Jay!Kay! How wonderful to see you two again!" He let go of my hand and gave both twins a hug, they hugged back giving him a pat on the back "we need to talk to you" one said "oh? What about?" "About a charm" the other said "oh, what ever happened to just stopping by to say 'hi?'" She pouts and crosses his arms with a small grin. He eventually lead us to a back room where it was just lit up by candlelight. No windows. No lamps. Just candles, placed all around the room. The twins explained what the charm looked like "oh, oh dear me" he said with a bit of worry in his voice "what? What is it?" I asked "that charm has a special power. I could-" he was cut off by a loud bang at the door.
