Parker's POV
I stood looking at him 'what the hell is up with this guy?!' We stood quiet looking at each other for a moment, then I herd a loud sound from down stairs and a few voices the where neither my fathers or the people that where with him "oh shit!" He yelled "what?! What's happening?!" I asked "just come with me I'll explain later!" He seamed quiet panicked. I grabbed his hand. I thought we where going to go running out the door but no. He pick me up "hold on tight!" He says ad jumps out the window my eyes shut and I waited for the hard hit, but it never came I slowly opened my eyes to find I was in the air above roof tops. I looked up and what I seen I was not prepared for.
He had fucking wings! I stared at them he looked down at me and laughed probably because my expression looked like I had just seen someone get hit with a car, I just stared in amazement. He landed on a tall building and put me down "question one! How do you have wings?!" I yelled he laughed "well I'm not human as you can tell I'm a demon" I stayed quiet for a minute "ok question two who where those people that you got so shook up about?" He was quiet for a minuet then looked at me "they where demons too, but you don't want to get mixed up with them" "oh ok" I said I wanted to ask more but he I didn't want to bother him.
I stood there looking at the view of the city, I let the breeze flow threw my hair, I took a deep breath of fresh air. I suddenly heard Lieren scream, I looked over to see he had dropped to his knees a short sphere was lodged in his stomach "oh my god are you ok?!" I said and ran over to him "we- need to get to a safer place" I looked up to see a different demon with some sort of cross bow type thing in the distance Lieren picked me up, his black wings spread and he jumped off the billing "kid! Any abandon houses you know of?" He asked "u-uhhh y-yea to your left on tashy road third house" I said. He flew there and I opened the door and helped him in and lied him down up stairs on a bed. He was in a lot of pain, there was blood everywhere.
I thought for a minuet "stay hear!" I said and ran to the bathroom, this was one of the houses I helped investigate, by now they had cleaned everything up now but all there stuff was still hear, and I remembered seeing a first aid kit in a closet, a big one. I eventually found it and ran in the bed room Lieren was in I got out a needle and some numbing stuff, I gave it to him and waited a few minuets after some of the pain was gone I got out some cloth bandages and put pressure on his stomach around the sphere and cut a pice of my leather belt and gave to him to bite on as I pulled it out.
I grabbed hold of the sphere and looked away and pulled it out. I could hear his muffled scream and heavy breathing. I gave him another shot to help with the pain and get some of the blood to clot and stitched and cleaned the wound and then bandaged it up.He passed out either from pain or blood loss and I wasn't about to leave him Lieren was the only person I had. I wasn't about to go out crashing threw the neighbor hood. I would either get the police called on me or one of though's other demon people get me. And I didn't want to risk either and I couldn't just leave him! I waited and slowly drifted off to sleep.
Lieren's POV
I awoke. The last thing I remember was the kid giving me some sort of shot 'the kid!' I looked over and was relieved to see him asleep in the floor propped up agents the bed i looked down to see he had wrapped my wound up. I grinned and ran my fingers threw his silky brown hair. I got my self up and picked him up and lied him on the bed with me so I could see his face he really was cute in his own annoying way. His light freckles across his soft skin and light brown hair I could stare at it all day, I continued running my fringes threw his hair until I got to his face, there was a bit of blood on his cheek more than likely mine. I licked my thumb and wiped the blood off.I soon fell back asleep.
