Chapter 2

The whole school was talking about me. Whispers in the halls, notes being passedin class and even photos of me going to school on twitter. It was easly noticable when I walked into the girls bathroom and three freshman girls quickly shut up and dashed out the door. I walked over to the mirror and sighed.
Boy, do I really look like that?
This school is awful its just a bunch of rich kids who trash talk behind your back. Even if your parents died. I lost my constration when my iphone began to ring.
"Hello?"
" Hello Ms.Viviano, my name is Derek. I was her fathers lawyer. I wanted to invite you to my office this afternoon to talk about your parents will." he said.
"My parents had a will? Umm...sure just text me your address and i will be there after school" i said not knowing what else to say.
"See you then Ms. Viviano" .
Dereks address lead me to the businesses portion of new york city, Manhattan. A tall skyscraper with the words Smith and Johnson writtion infront of the building. I walked through the glass doors to the front desk. The floor was buzzing with people going in and out of the building. The lady behind the desk did not seem to notice me.
" Umm hi?" i said when she finally looked up at me. She did not look as old as some of the people here.
"Hey there! Do you have an appointment?" she asked in a friendly tone.
" No, but Derek called me and asked me to come by his office..." i didnt finish my sentance when she said
"Ahh your the girl he told me about! He did say you might stop by" she said looking down at her papers "umm Paige Viviano right?" she said looking at me.
"Thats me"
"Well here, I will take you to his office" she said getting up from her chair.
"Follow me" she said leading me to the shiny silver elevator doors.
