Chapter 12

Emily's P.O.V

Alex said I looked awesome... Huh not what I was expecting. I have to admit though I was a bit disappointed.

"Um..thanks" I said more like a question.

I said bye to Sarah and Marshall and headed out.

As I stepped out of the house I could not believe my eyes.There's a Lamborghini parked outside my house.

Maybe its the neighbour's new car?
ok then.

"So..." Alex said pulling me back to reality.

"So..." I repeated.
"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see." He said smirking.

"Our ride." Alex said in a very weird way.It was kindda cute.He was cute.
Oh god,what am I saying?

Holy good sweet baby Jesus.

The thing that shocked me was that he was pointing at the beautiful and my dream car the Lamborghini.

"This is your car?" I asked in a shocked tone.

"Sort of?" He said softly.

"And you didn't tell me your so call best friend you have her dream car?" I said quite annoyed.

"Look, I'm sorry and I'll explain everything later at the surprise place." He said walking towards me and holding my shoulders.

I looked at the ground.

"Do you trust me?" He asked.

I looked up at him.

"Do you trust me?" He repeated.

"Fine...but I want an explanation." I said.

"Ok then,but first you have to let me put this on for you. " he said taking out a piece of black cloth from his left pocket.

"A blindfold?"i asked raising my eyebrows.

" Just let me put it on."he said duh tone.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Please." He said doing his cute irresistible puppy face while pouting.

"Ok...fine."

He gave me a huge grin and turned me around. I could feel my stomach turn upsidedown.Must be the 4 day old asparagus I ate.

He placed the blindfold on my eyes and tied it.It was too tight.

"Ouch!" I said trying to hold the blindfold but instead, I grabbed on to his hand.

He froze.

I could feel my heart beating in my ear.

"Sorry." He said whispering in my ear which made my legs feel like jelly.

"Better?" He said while loosening the blindfold.

"Yeah,thanks." I said as I could feel
my cheeks turn red.

He then held my hand and led me to the car and made sure I got in without hurting any part of my body.

"Can you please tell me now how you got this car?" I asked annoyed.

"I said I'm sorry, are you still angry with me?" He pouted.

"I'm not angry,I'm annoyed. I'm supposed to be your best friend and best friends don't keep anything from each other." I stated.

"I told you I'll explain everything at the surprise place." He simply said.

I groaned in my head..I mean don't get me wrong,he is still my best friend and I still love him but-

Wait..did I just say love?I meant it in a friendly way,right?

Its official. I'm wacko.

The sound of the car stopping snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Were here." Alex simply said...I couldn't see anything but I could hear him getting out of the car.

"Alex?" I called for him while holding the blindfold.

No reply.

Then I heard the door on my side opened.

"Alex?" I called again.

"I'm here mitten."

"When did my name change?" I said.

"Its my nickname for you.Were you trying to open the blindfold?" He said in a serious tone.

"No?"

"That's it.You got a time out.You will not talk until I take the blindfold off.Ok?ok."

What the heck?He sounds like my mother.

He then helped me out of the car and we walked to this 'special' place and then we stopped.

" Hello?Alex,if this is a joke then it is so not funny."

No reply.

"Alex?"

No reply .

"Alexander Ethan Bradford!"

No reply.

Did he clean his ears?

"Fine then!You don't reply,I'm taking off the blindfold." I said pulling it off.

My vision was all blury and did I mention it was peach black?Well,it was.

Hello?!?I shouted.

Still no reply...this boy is impossible.

Now,I was getting real scared. He left me in the middle of god know which jungle alone.Wait...why did he bring me to the jungle?

"Boo!" I heard someone shouted in my ear.

I screamed a in a very high pitched tone and literally jumped so hard I dropped my purse.

"You cow,You scared the living daylights out of me!"
"I'm sorry.Chicken."
"What did you call me?"
"C-H-I-C-K-E-N"
"Have it your way...I'm outta here." I said walking past him where I don't even know.

"Hey,I meant that's what were having for dinner." He shouted.

"But I'm a vegetarian" I said not even bothered to turn around. "Aren't you allowed to try meat?"He questioned. "Yes?"I sounded really unsure..."Then come on!"
