One day a 9 year old girl named Cassie went to a equine auction with her mom she saw lots of great jumpers but none of them really caught her eye. she went to leave after the auction but she heard people laughing she turned around and saw a medium sized Shetland pony she heard the man say "last call for Shasta" and she yelled "$100". the man said "going once going twice SOLD, to the little girl!". She was so happy this little pony had caught her eye she put him in the trailer and drove home when she got there she groomed him she already had a clean stall ready so she put him in there put a blanket on him and put him to bed.
"next morning"
she woke up got dressed ate breakfast and headed to the stables she went to the 5 stall and took Shasta out she groomed him and said "today we train" she went to the indoor arena and mounted up she rode him a little and set up a small jump course she cleared all jumps perfectly she dismounted and took him back too the stall her mom and her went to town she saw a flyer that said 'jumpers horse show all ages welcome' she went too it that following week and won first prize. she was so happy she laughed too herself and said "we won against all those horse's Shasta.. I told them size doesn't matter! Good job."
