Chapter 4;

Settling In;

I stared at the house with my mouth open slightly.

"Georgia, close your mouth dear, you'll catch flies" Mother laughed, picking up the suitcases out of the boot of the cab.

"This, this is really ours??" I asked still in shock.

"Sure is" Mother giggled, handing me 2 suitcases.

I opened the front door and we all walked in. Noah held Lola's left hand and held onto Daisy's travel car seat with his right hand. I stepped inside. It was like heaven. Right next to the front door was the stairs that had red carpet and an oak banister. Straight ahead was a long corridor with 3 rooms at the side and one in front. The first room I came to was the living room, it was full off boxes like the rest of the house i presume. The second room was the bathroom and it was quite big. The third room was a spare room. Then at the end of the corridor was an archway leading to a huge kitchen. I walked back to the stairs and walked up them. Again, there was a long corridor with 4 rooms lining each side and on the wall right at the end was a bow window with a beautiful view of the beach. The first room on the right was a spare room. The second room was Lola's room. The third room was Mother's room and the fourth room was Daisy's. The first room on the left was a spare room that I'm planning on turning into a games room. The second room was a big bathroom. The next room was Noah's and the last bedroom was mine. It was huge. I could do so much to this room! Themes were running through my mind like crazy and I sat on the floor to start unpacking my things.

At 7pm after we had just ate dinner mother asked me to put the girls to bed whilst she finished unpacking the living room. So far we had unpacked all rooms upstairs and I did get the games room (yay) and we had unpacked half of the living room.

I picked up Daisy in her travel car seat and Lola was standing by my side. I walked up the stairs and along to Daisy's room.

"Lola, go get ready for bed and I come to say goodnight in a minute" I promised as she skipped along the hallway.

I took Daisy into her new room and placed the car seat on the floor next to her cabinet draws. I took her out of it and lay her down flat on the changing mat. I took a fresh diaper out of one of the draws and put it on her. I also changed her into a white baby grow then took her over to her crib. I placed her down and tucked her in, I sat down next to her and fed her milk until she fell asleep. I then slowly backed out of the room, turning off the lights. I shut her door so it was almost sound proof to all the unpacking downstairs. I walked down the hall to Lola's room and she was already in bed.

"Read me a story?" Lola asked, looking up at me with her bright emerald eyes.

I walked over to her book shelf and picked up 'Beauty and the Beast'. I walked back over to her bed and it took me 20 minutes to read it to her, she soon fell asleep and I backed out of the room, turning off the lights and shutting the door.

When I got to the top of the stairs I heard my name being mentioned.

"Do you think she'll be happy here?" Mum asked Noah with tears in her eyes. Am I really making my family this miserable? I need to get as far away as I possibly can to stop this. It seems everything I touch.. breaks.

"I hope so" Noah walked over to Mum and pulled her into a hug. "She doesn't have anything that could hurt her here Mum, It's a fresh start and I think she'll do a lot better".

Noah walked into the kitchen to start unpacking and I took that as my opportunity to walked back downstairs. I sat next to mum for 3 hours unpacking everything else.

"Go get ready for bed. Tomorrow we're going school shopping" Mother said to both me and Noah.

I kissed her cheek then walked to the bathroom upstairs. I took a shower and got put on a white vest top and some red and black Minnie Mouse shorts. I set my alarm for 8am.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, children playing outside and of course Andy Biersack's voice. I got out of bed and put my phone on my vanity table. I waddled into the bathroom and had a shower. I walked back into my bedroom, now a bit less tired, and put on an Adventure Time shirt with most characters on it, denim black skinny jeans, black vans, 3 band wristbands on my left arm and Phan (Dan & Phil) wrist bands on the right arm. I walked over to my vanity table again and brushed my hair, letting beach waves roll onto my shoulders. I sprayed some Vera Wang Princess perfume on my neck and wrists then stood up. Just before I walked out of my room I picked up my phone that had a pink GameBoy cover on it, my keys which had a Batman key ring and a Jack the Skeleton key ring on it. I put my sun glasses on my face and walked downstairs.

"Ready to go?" Mother smiled at my appearance.

"Yep" I skipped towards her. I mean, to be honest I'm a tomboy but I do love fashion. Hey! I'm a girl after all. Noah shook his head laughing at me. I playfully swatted him over the back of the head then ran towards the door again. I walked out to our car and saw Lola and Daisy were already in the back seats.

"Lo, put your seat belt on" I instructed and she did just that. Daisy was fast asleep yet again. I swear that's all baby's do. Eat, sleep, repeat. Mother was talking to Noah about something so I groaned and wound my window down.

"Mummm hurry up" I moaned at her.

"Coming, coming" She chuckled as she walked towards the car and got in.

It took us 10 minutes to drive to the mall and it was huge! It's much better then the shopping centers we have in England. I got out of the car and opened the door for Lola to get out. She ran around to the other side and held onto my mums hand. I took the pushchair out of the car boot and pushed it around to the side Daisy was sat, still asleep. I picked her up carefully and placed her in the pushchair, putting a blanket on her, as it was a chilly day, and putting her bottle next to her arm.

We arrived home after hours of walking around the mall and eating out. It's currently 5 in the afternoon and i promised mother we would have a night together before i started my new life here. Mother cooked us pasta with tomato sauce and cheese sprinkled over it. We all sat down in the living room to eat.

After we had finished eating, Noah took all of our plates into the kitchen and washed up. Lola started rubbing her eyes and Daisy started crying.

"Lola, time for bed" I smiled at her, whilst I picked up Daisy.

"I'll do it" Mother said.

"No mum, I'll do it. You relax I'll be straight down." I promised. I walked upstairs holding Daisy in one arm and holding Lola's hand in my left hand. Lola went straight into the bathroom to brush her teeth then straight into her room. I placed Daisy in her cradle, as she was already in a baby grow, and tucked her in. I span the chimes around above her head and fed her milk until she drifted off. I then walked into Lola's room and tucked her in, said goodnight and kissed her forehead.

I walked back downstairs and mother had set up a DVD.

"What are we watching?" I asked.

"Mean Girls" Mother answered. I sat down on the couch next to mum and put my feet up. We watched the movie in silence for 2 hours and ate sweet butter popcorn.

When the movie finished, mum walked up the stairs to check on Daisy and Lola. I took out the movie and put it back in it's case. Turning off the TV, I stood up and walked up the staircase, along the hall and into my bedroom. This is it. Tomorrow I have to start my new life, I have no choice. I walked into the bathroom, took a shower then walked back to my bedroom in a towel. I unfolded my pajamas and put them on. Climbing under the sheets, I plugged my charger into my phone and set my alarm for 6:30am.

I really hope tomorrow goes well.
