The Girl Who Can't Be Moved

| 2nd chapter |

flashback~

As Jae Hwa happily skipped on her way to her and Tao's meeting place, she didn't notice a little figrue eyeing her every move. When she reached the top of the stairs and is ready to go down, somebody pushed her.

"Eck!" she yelped as she uncontrollably fall down form the top to the rest of the stairs.

Students who passed by, couldn't react nor save her since it happened to fast for their adrenaline to rush. Down, Jae Hwa lie almost lifeless and that's when others ran towards her aide.

At the hospital, she was confined and Tao visited her immediately right after his class. Jae's parents were already there and is now waiting for the doctor's result.

"Imo!! How's Jae???" he yelled while panting.

Jae's brother patted his back. "Calm down bro, she'll be alright." he said assuringly and Tao nodded in response. He sat down on the chairs and prayed silently for her safety.

Few minutes passed and the doctors come out, Jae's mother hurriedly ran to the doctor's side and asked about her condition.

"Oh... Madam, I'm afraid Jae had gotten a big impact after the fall. Let me ask you, is the stairs where she fall a cement or wood made??" he asked.

Tao replied immediately, "A cement one." The doctor sighed and then look at them, "I think she might suffer a temporary amnesia. You know that right?" he said.

Jae's mom yelp in disbelief. Tao was speechless. "But.. It's temporary, so when will it come back?" he asked desperately.

"We don't know. It would probably take months? Let's just hope for the best." the doctor then gave them a small nod and walk away.

Later, a nurse come out carrying all the needed material and announced that she's allowed to be visit. All of them ran inside, and Tao get the honors to talk to her first.

"Jae?? Babe??" he called out, stroking her forehead's hair.

"Hmm.." Jae slightly groaned and then slowly opened her eyes. She stared at the surroundings and found her parents and her brother. She smiled, she then turn to the man beside her and frown.

"Who are you??" she asked. Tao was taken a back. It was as if what she had said was the most unwanted thing Tao would have heard in his whole life.

"No. Babe? You don't remember me?" he asked and look at her intently.

"Darling, he's Tao. Remember?? You're boyfriend." Jae's mom seconded.

She just stared at the both of them and then back to Tao, this time a longest one. Tao had his hopes high. Please let her remember me.... He thought and then smiled.

"No. I don't think I have one. I don't even have a suitor. Mom, stop joking." his smiled fell and that was it. Enough of what he heard, Tao ran out the room and left the confused Jae.

As of this moment, Tao had stalked Jae the whole time. He was now in the library. He was now currently flipping over a random book when Jae passed on his spot. He covered his face as much as possible.

After that, he followed her as she walk towards a shelf which had a ladder in it. He saw him pausing for a while as if battling with herself if she would like to go up or not.

And then Jae decided the first one. She climbed up the ladder and peeked through the books, slighlty moving them and then she smiled as she found the one she's been looking for.

"Oh~ Aigoo.. Why does it have to be this far? Stupid height." she mumbled to herself.

Tao who was just not so far away from her, perks up. It's dangerous Jae! Stupid girl. He slowly made his way to the ladders side.

And as if on cue, the ladder wriggled itself when it feel that Jae was shaking herself too. And the obvious thing happened. Jae slipped and fall, she was too shocked to even let out a small whimper. And so, she worried that no one will notice her.

She waited for herself to land on the ground when a few minutes, nothing happened. She slowly opened her eyes and a pair of panda eyes meet hers.

"Oh, panda~ Thanks for saving me..." she smiled as she caressed the panda's face.

"I'm glad you called me that. Do you remember me already?" Tao said, smiling widely and was amused by his girl.

Jae who just walked up from her trance, blinked her eyes few times, and that was when her vision cleared. This isn't a panda. But a boy. Jeez! Stupid Jae.

"Put me down mister." she said firmly. Tao put her down slowly, surprised by her voice tone.

"And how many times should I tell you that I don't remember you, nor have you as my boyfriend. Dream on, Panda Boy!" she continued. Tao was silent.

So, she still didn't remember me. How sad. Should I give up now?? he asked himself as he watch her back who's now walking away from him. No! You still have your special weapon! he smirked when he thought of the special weapon.

"Let's see Jae. I do hope this will make you remember." Tao hopefully thought and walk towards the opposite side.
