"Cade, it's snowing!" Jackson burst out. Cade was far too calm for snow on the first day of winter. How could he still be laying in bed, a morning as perfect as this?

"I know Jackson" Cade smiled back at him. "I saw it the moment I woke up..."

"And you didn't care to wake me up? Rude!" Jackson crossed his arms and looked down at Cade, hurt.

"But babe you looked sweet and beautiful - "

"And that's just selfish!"

"I weren't sure you'd accept snow as a valid reason for me waking you up..."

"Selfish and scared of me... It's the first of December, it's a classic! First snow, first December! Some people don't even get to experience this once in their lifetime!"

"Oh come on, I knew you would wake up... and you can actually be quite intimidating when you don't want to wake up. Besides I'm not the one who knows the date and weather or not it's normal with snow outside, when you've just woke up and you've got a kitty cuddled up against you... It's getting cold, come back here." Cade begged.

"What if it stopped snowing? We could've have the perfect moment just laying in bed watching it..." Jackson was still standing by the window, arms across his chest. But Cade knew him well enough to see he was only trying to look grumpy now.

"Well there's still time for that, and besides you'd run up to the window no matter what. So just come back here my little sparkling snowflake" Cade teased in his thick Irish accent. The new nickname left Jackson no choice and besides he'd start shaking if he didn't get back, since they'd forgotten to turn on the heat last night. Jackson cuddled back down under the big down cover as grumpily as he could, but leaned his back close against Cade's chest.
