Chapter Twelve: The stranger

Pov: Marquez and Innocence

Mrs. Hudson walked into Innocence room to awaken the sleep child from her nap. Innocence being the reluctant waker she was only turned to face the lavender purple wall of the room to continue her nap.

"Wake up sleepy head" Mrs. Hudson says to Innocence as she sleeps softly. "You need to wake up we have a lot of things to do today in town and have to get ready for a party tonight as four". Mrs. Hudson pulls the blankets off of Innocence warm body and the cold air rushes into her warm body and she wakes up.

"What time is it" Innocence asked sleepily. She slowly rubs her eyes and stretches and blinking her eyes softly focusing on Mr.Hudson

"....2:37 pm" Mrs. Hudson replies folding the blanket and placing it gently on the edge of Innocence's bed

"Well that was a long cat nap" she replies standing up and fixing her clothes and hair.

Mrs. Hudson walks to the door and turns around "Oh and Innocence please take a shower before the party. Many family members and friends are coming over to have fun". She smiles and leaves the room and walks to Dean's room.

"F-family....as in crowd...crowded areas hurt my brain..." she says sighing as she getting ready to shower once again.

Marquez lays there and rolls around on the bed as he sleeps. The rustle of the bed sheets drown out the sound of Mrs. Hudson's movement of her feet as she walks into the room.

"We have a visitor Marquez" the beast says as it snarls and the fur on his neck stand up. The scent of Mrs. Hudson fills the beast's lungs.

Mrs. Hudson lays down to whisper into Marquez's ear. She softly opens her lips as Marquez wakes up and grabs her by her throat and growls loudly. He looks at her with his grey blue eyes and sits up.

"You better be cautious with the words that you are going to say alphas wife. You have ten seconds to explain why you are here" Marquez says as he lets go of her throat. His muscles throb as the cuts bleed.

Mrs. Hudson smiles at Marquez and says "it doesn't matter what happens now. You are pretty much dead as the day progresses". She smirks and leaves the room

Marquez growls and watches Mrs. Hudson leaves the room. He quickly gets up and walks out of the room. The cold ground mixes with his warm feet as he walks quickly down the hall. The sound of laughter fills the halls in front of him and he runs into a empty room. As he gets into the room he smells a different scent in the air. This scent was different from the Hudson's wild and pine smell. This smell was sweet smelling and the smell of someone who wasn't from Alaska. He slowly walks around as the faint sound of water hitting a hard surface fills the air.

"This has to be someone who isn't a werewolf like the Hudson's Marquez. Infact this scent smells familiar, like we have seen this person before" the beast inside Marquez says.

Innocence starts to wash her hair with cinnamon scented shampoo and lets the shampoo set in her hair for a while as she starts to wash her body with orange scented soap. She stands there as the warm water hits her body. The smell of the shampoo fills the air in the bathroom and Innocence stops the water.

Marquez hears the water stop and he walks over to the door. The smell of cinnamon and orange hits his nose and the scent of another person. Marquez stands next to the door frame and waits for the person to walk out of the bathroom.

After ten minutes Innocence finished her shower and walks into her room in with a towel wrapped around her figure to the clothes laid out on her bed oblivious to the visitor in her room. As she picks up her clothing and softly hums and smiles walking back to the bathroom to finish drying and starts to clothe herself. She leaves her hair out to frizz up to give her hair a normal look than to straighten her out. She walks out to put on her black thin socks and gray flats to match with gray and black long-sleeved sweater.
