SHANZAY'S POV
We got to the conference room and everyone took a seat. I sat next to anooshey and Shehry right in front and i could feel his stare on me. i started to feel pretty anxious the very moment. He had something that put me at unease, something and i didn't know what it was yet.
The sponsors of the show tonight had planned a contest and out of everyone present, they chose me to utter it out to the boys. Anooshey had no clue what was going around and hence i was responsible. His gaze on me again and i felt really uncomfortable.
" Oh, so the idea is to come here every week this month and pick five girls who are going to be answering some questions. At the end of the month and with 20 girls, you can have a gig here at the station . So, what do you think Hussain?" i avoid shehry and looked at hussain instead.
Atif and Hussain looked unsure. Waqas seemed lost and Shehry...i couldnt tell, he kept looking at me like i was the answer.
"Ohh the exciting part....How will we pick the girls? " Asked Hussain
" We will announce the contest and Me and Shanzay will help you chose from the series of calls we recieve. At your service always" Explained Anooshey.
"Both of you Right Anooshey?" Asked Shehry gazing at Anooshey for a change ever since he's been around in the studio.
"Mostly Shanzy, Shehry" She said looking at me with a smile. "She will be with you all the time during the contest and will help you in everything she can."
Atif was smiling, Hussain and Waqas seemed determined and Shehry had a glow in his eyes. I couldn't help but to stare at him and smile.
"You tell us whenever you are ready and we will surely be here Lovelies. It was really nice meeting you Anooshey...... and Shanzay offcorse " Said Waqas " We better get going now. see ya later"
These guys were amazing. So humble and down to earth and oh god they were really handsome too. I felt them eyes on me again. "See ya Shanzay ji, It was really nice talking to you. Ill see ya soon" It was him, Shehry yaar asif. Goosebumps.
The boys hugged us one by one and we told them our thanks. Hussain was the first one to hug me goodbye. Followed by atif and Waqas , they were super sweet. Shehry was the last one to hug me. i was dreading to hug him because i wanted to know what was going on i wanted an explaination but i was scared at the same time. i hugged him back and that embraced lasted longer than any of the other ones. His arms wrapped around me and i felt so delicate and tiny and for a couple of seconds i let myself enjoy his hug digging myself into his chest. "Thankyou so much" i whispered to him as i stepped back.
He nodded with a smile, a really cute one. i liked his features and when he smiled his whole face lit up. it was mezmerizing.
"You are welcome Beautiful" He said with a wink " And we are gonna need your numbers for sure to call you later."
"Ahmm y-y-y-y-yeah sure" i stuttered. He took his phone out.
Soon they were gone. Me and Anooshey stood there alone at the station.
:Hurry up, Supernatural's about to start. You dont wanna miss it haina? Anooshey!! " i called Anooshey who was in the kitchen getting us popcorn. It was the brand new episode of our favourite show , supernatural, and i couldnt miss a second.
Anooshey was staying over for the night so we could watch the show together. shes a sweetheart. She was back in no time with a massive bowl filled with popcorn and i held my hands out to grab some.
"The road so far..." i heard that and screamed so loud Anooshey winced. i couldnt help myself i freaking loved that show.
We were at the middle of the show when my phone started ringing. i groaned and let it ring. i was available only after Supernatural was over.
By the time the show was over i was screaming against my pillow and anooshey was tryna keep up with me. so many emotions i couldn't even talk. Then my phone went on again and i couldn't help but to scream louder because that was all i could at the very moment. Anooshey took my phone away and picked up.
"Uhhmmm Yes this is her number but..she's unavailable right now. Who is calling?' Anooshey asked nicely while i was still screaming about the show. "Shehry?" i froze as soon as i heard his name and sat up, seeing anooshey concentrated and waiting for an answer. Suddenly she looks at me her eyes wide open and an expression of sheer disbelief on her face.
"Put the speaker on!" i told her ad she quickly did as i said.
"Shehry...ahmm Hi! !" i asked holding the phone real close to me. Anooshey was eves dropping.
"Hello Shanzay ji" i heard his voice, his accent and i dont know why it was easy to recognize. "How have you been?'
"I am Good..ahmm.. thanks .. How about you? And everyone?" i managed to say something.
"Well i just wanted to Say that we are up for tomorrow and We need details....so do you think you guys can visit us or should we show up at the studio huh?"
"We will have the details ready and sure...ahm... you guys can come visit us whenever tomorrow"
Sounds like a plan. We will be there! Thankyou so much shanzay ji.
I hung up. OMG Dhoombros are coming to the studio again tomorrow. Its gonna be a day!
