chapter 20

Chloe

I woke up to someone screaming at the top of their lungs.

"Justin!" I said quickly looking around, he's not here.
I get up and grab the bat Justin keeps beside his bed, I put nubbles in her crate and put her in the little room made into the room (safe room). I then head out the door, while I'm walking the screaming gets worse. When I get to the stairs the screaming is so bad I've got a headache. When I get down there, I see a very angry Justin.

"Justin, what's wrong?" I ask him, he to only scream again.

"He is beyond mad, lets get you upstairs." Chaz says, I shook my head.

"Go upstairs and get nubbles out of the safe room and take her to lizzy and get someone to stay with her, preferably you." I order and he nods hesitantly.
"Now Justin, come on. Lets get you some water." I say and grab his hand, only for him to gare at me.
"Justin Drew. Come with me now, and speak like a gentleman." I ordered, and he nodded and walked with me to the kitchen. I made him a glass of water and gave it to him to drink.
"Now, what is wrong?" I ask, he breather out.

"Fricking Sammy, he didn't count up the money last night, we lost some, not adding to the money." Justin growled out, he then walked to me and hugged me. Stuffing his head into the crease of my neck.

"Justin. That wasn't worth the damn screaming. Do you know how scared I was? I woke up to screaming, my sister in a different room. You not there. I thought something was happening." I spoke my words shivering.

"I'm sorry, it stresses me out. I wasn't in my state of mind..." he spoke, I just nodded.

"Lets watch some movies so you can calm down?" I ask him, and he nodded and we went into the living room.

"You can bring her down! Everything is okay!" I yell throughout the house. My sister and the gang then come downstairs and we all watch movies.

Justin's phone rings through the movie.

"May you get that for me?" Justin asks, I nodded and answer.

Girl- hey baby, want me to 'come' over?
Me- excuse me?
Girl- oooh, orgy?
Me- the fuck? Who is this?
Girl- tell the owner if the phone to get on.

"Justin this girl wants to talk to you." I say and hand him his phone.

"Who is this?"
"The fuck? No!"
"No way! I have a girl!"
"Don't call this number again!"

With that he hangs up.

"Chloe, I'm so sorry. I have no clue who that was!." Justin apologized.

"Justin, it's fine. Lets just finish our movie." I say and we watch our movie.

Someone was now knocking at the door.

"Bab- Chloe, stay here?" Justin says and I nod and a couple minutes he walks in with Sammy and Skate and a new guy.

"Chloe, you met the other two yesterday, but this is Derek." Justin said, I got up and shook Dereks hand and he kisses it when he's done shaking.

"Well, I had an important meeting, I forgot about." Justin said, I nodded and they walked off.
I looked over to see my sister asleep, cuddling nubbles. What to do now? I got it! I picked up lizzy and called nubbles and put them to bed in Justin's room, well, Justin and I's room. I then walked out of the room and heard knocking. So I walk downstairs to hear the knock we told Jay to. I then opened up the door to see a Luke.

"CHLOE!" I heard my name be yelled out and I flinch towards Luke.
"What are you doing?!" I see Justin yell.

"I-I was answering the door..." I whispered, him to only glare at me.

"Who is that?!" He yelled again glaring at Luke. Sammy and Skate and Derek walks in.

"Luke....he's from my gang..." I say looking down.

"What? Your girl is in a gang?" Skate smirks holding a blunt.

"What gang?" Sammy says wide eyed.

"Who's girl?" Derek says looking at everyone.

"Chloe...we're having a meeting, whatever he needs, please hurry up, I need to get back down to business." Justin said sighing.

"Uhm....Coke, we aren't Westside no more....we're the Mexican Mafia." Luke whispers in my ear, a grin stretches across my face.

"Holy Fuck! No way! We've been trying to get along with them for years!" I grin happy.

"Best thing is, you're still the leader." He says outloud, making me scream in happiness.

"YES! YAY!" I screamed, making everyone look at me.

"Happy?" Justin said looking at me weird.

"More than happy!" I squeal, making him roll his eyes.

"He couldn't have said something to make you that happy." Justin said, I grin at him.

"Oh yeah?" I bet him.

"Yeah." Justin says and I giggle.

"I am the leader of the Mexican Mafia." I say proudly.

"You're not Hispanic Chloe." Justin hissed.

"Oh, yes I am. I just don't look like one. Martin, my last name? Yeah that's an 'adoptive nickname' name, it's actually Martinez." I speak smiling.

"Okay, whatever. Luke, you can leave now." Justin said glaring at Luke.

"Bye Shithead, I love you." I say and hug him.

"Bye dumbfuck, I love you too." Luke says and hugs back and then leaves.

"Well, I'm going to go finish the meeting." Justin says and Sammy and Skate leave, but not Derek.

"So, mafia leader aye?" Derek speaks, and I nod.
I then see Chaz standing at the doorway looking at me strange. I shrug at him.
"Gotta boy?" He asks, to only see Chaz walk up and stand beside me.

"Her boy so happens to be your boss. So quit the flirting with her and get to that meeting." Chaz says strongly and wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"I'm not flirting. You seem to be the one flirting. Y'know, ya arm around her shoulder?" Derek smarted off.

"Protecting her? Yes. Flirting with her? No. So turn your happy ass around and get to that meeting." Chaz growls, Derek rolls his eyes and goes on to the meeting.

"Thank you Chaz." I say and hug him.

"You're welcome Chloe." He replies and hugs me.

We then break apart and I go to check on my sister, which she is fine. So I lay down with her.

I've been writing for like a day. I'm sorry its been since October 9th, I've had a lot of stuff to do.
I'd like for everyone to say a prayer for our world. It has gotten bad. I also would like to say a moment of silence for the ones lost.
