A dancer, A dare, A new life

chapter 6

We start school tomorrow. I wonder what Jase is thinking is he looking for the girl who kissed him new years eve. Does he know it's me. Well i guess I'm gonna find out tomorrow.

   I spend my final day on break watching tv in my bedroom and finishing the homework my teacher's gave me. I still can't focus though i keep going back to that moment on new years eve.

    I have 6 classes all Wich I ace I have art with natalie.then I have language arts or LA with lia and selah, then journalism with Ashley. Then math with faith. then history with Tina. Finally P.E the worst part is its with jase. The good thing is though I go to Edgewood middle school were we can  choose how we learn  so I chose to spend P.E dancing. Sometimes I do little competitions after school i normally win in the solo division but really I'm not that good. So really the only time I see Jase is when we do are weekly report and during lunch.

  Me Tina, selah, lia, Natalie, Ashley, and Faith all gather in front of school 15 . before school starts to catch up and talk about the daily gossip. Like normal Ashley has her nose in a book half listening half reading. I'm just listening to everyone talking about there Winter boots and scarfs I'm just agreeing and saying "sure cool." Every once and awhile.  My heads on jase will he find out what will he do. *bling bling* the school bell rings and we all hurry off to class.

    Like normal i sit in the front of the class with natalie to my left. Also like normal i answer 90% of the questions the other 10% Mr. Smith had to give to someone else.

   Next is LA with Lia and Selah. As normal i take as many notes I know all the answers front of the class lia and selah though are usually in the back passing notes or listening to music.

      Soon LA ends and I speed walk to Journalism. There's about 700 kids at my school there's that one popular group everybody avoids and knows who they are. Jase is in that group and probably the most popular out of that group well either him or Emily. When your on your way to switch classes The hallways are stuffed. I've found if you stay close to the wall, walk fast, and keep your head down. When you Keep your head down people are least likely to talk to you.

    When I get to Journalism me and Ashley sit in the front and always are competing who's the best in school. Me and Ashley are in charge of The school announcements in the school news paper. We just type revise then type some more. Next is lunch.

      We all have lunch together.  I sit down at the table and Faith says "have you seen the video yet?" "What video?" I say "you haven't seen it yet well let me show you it was emailed to everyone through there school emails." When the video loads It's jase he says "Dear girl Who kissed me it was new years eve you know who you are So please come out i just want to know who you are. Well i guess that's All so please let me know who you are l. Bye." Then it ended I knew it was me. Dang it why couldn't he just forget it I'm not telling him not at all.

"Jade you have to tell him" Says Tina
"No I will not let a boy ruin my life" I say
"Oh come on you have to" Says natalie.
"No u guys! And your not going to tell him either got it!"
"FINE." They all say.

    I then finish my lunch and go outside and write like normal. I love to write. The bell then rings and I head to math.

  Math I would say is my hardest subject. I still ace my tests but it's a lot harder then LA, my favorite subject.  Faith is in the back like normal. I'm in the front and know most questions just a normal math class.

   Next is history Wich to me is a bore. I take the notes i answer the questions but in general it's just boring. Tina has to get good enough grades to play soccer. So she in the middle not the back not the front.

      Wahoo! (Said with sarcasm). I have my weakly report with jase. My plan is to just ignore him and act as normal as possible. I go first for my report I always volunteer to go first. "Over winter break I spent most of it at the studio. Over the 2 weeks i spent 100 hours practicing.i also went to a tango competition with my friend Jacob and we one first place." I say Mrs. Hagen says great job Jade keep working hard. I sit back down Emily goes next and i tune out and start thinking about Jase. After about half the class goes jase starts to speak and I tune back in. "I have had two hours of practice every day of break and i also had a game with my team the blue jays and we won 5 to 2. I then start thinking about dance again.

When every one fineshes we have about 15 minutes left in class so I head over to the schools studio to practice.
