Chapter 3. Hey I'm Izzy Jones

"I can't believe my eyes! It's Ross Lynch!" Erik screamed jumping out of the car and running over to Ross.

I chuckled hopping out, my stomach churning with nervousness; I mean what if they didn't like me? What if I don't get the part? Will I get into any cat fights?

Hopefully not! A smile crept to my face as I got closer to the angel named Ross.

"Hey." I said shyly. Ross's eyes quickly flashed to me and our eyes met.

"Hey, I'm Ross Lynch. But I bet you know that already." He said arrogantly with a wink. His arrogance was a total turnoff.

"Oh...I'm Izzy Jones. But I bet you know that by now." I mocked his arrogance. I hated arrogant people, being all snobby and being better than us middle class peeps.

"Sorry for my arrogance. Fame can really get to you." He said nervously. "So you guys ready to see where all the magic happens?"

"Hell to the yeah!" Erik yelled, looking like he was more excited than I was, which was awkward.

We followed Ross into the studio, taking in everything.

"Okay. So this is where all the magic happens! Also over there and over here." He said pointing to all these different places.

I stepped onto the Sonic Boom set, and went around glancing at every single prop. I stood behind Ally's counter and saw Ross coming over. But no sign of Erik.

"Hey Austin! Welcome to Sonic Boom! How are you today?" I mimicked Ally.

"Oh! I'm all good Ally! How about you? Any new songs?" Ross played along.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Here's your new song! It's called Neverland!" I started to scribble the lyrics I knew to the song I wrote. I handed it to Ross. He then started making a rhythm and a beat and soon enough he made it sound great.

"Thats actually a great song! Where did you find it?" Ross asked getting out of character.

"Um...I wrote it myself." I said nervously.

"Well it's really good! Sing it!" Ross exclaimed.

"What?! No! You will hate my voice." I said disappointed. He grabbed my chin and now I was looking straight into his eyes. They were beautiful.

"Look. You never know until you try. And I bet you have a beautiful voice. I won't do harmful criticizing." He said with a huge smile letting go of my face.

"Well? Okay." I mumbled taking the song out of Ross' hand. He then started singing the first verse and then I sang the next and so on.

After the song:

"Wow! You do obviously have talent!" Ross exclaimed.

I blushed and mumbled "Thanks."

I was kind of the shy type if you ask me. I have really bad trust problems. But let's not get into detail at the moment. Shall we?

"No problem." Ross chuckled while biting his lip. "Would you like to collaborate with me and Laura?"

My eyes went wide. I couldn't believe it, but yes it was happening! Yay my first gig! Now the whole world will know my name, voice and face!

"Um..."Nice way of being professional Izzy, I mentally facepalmed. "That would be... amazing!! Yes!" I shouted with overexcitement.

"That's great Izzy! Now we just need to think of what episode we're going to fix it in to." The producer said walking in and out unexpectedly, causing me and Ross to burst out in laughter.

"Um...Where's Erik, by the way?" I asked Ross trying not to laugh again.

A chuckle escaped his mouth."I thought you knew he was going to apply for his job. In Disneyland. It wasn't here. He just dropped you off here so you could make your dreams come true." He said sweetly hugging me all of a sudden. I flinched at his touch, at first insecure then it faded into a relaxed feeling and I hugged back.

"Wouldn't you like to see your name in shining lights or on the marquee? Izzy Jones performing at 'Hard Rock Café'. Or even better. Times Square on new years eve." Ross said excitedly, hugging me tighter. There was something about him that really calmed my distraught spirit.

"Ross...Thank you." I said with a big grin. He looked at me confused and understanding.

"For what? What I just said? Or what did I do?" He asked, I pulled away from his tight grip around me, looked into his hazel eyes, and said

"For being just so amazingly amazing! I feel safe around you, I don't know why. I've always felt insecure about myself. And with you I feel I can be me. You bring all this joy, which I usually envy people for. But I just feel natural around you. I know we just met but I feel this spark between us." I said gushing my heart out.

"Awwwww! So cute! I know for a fact that you are a talented, beautiful, and amazing girl. Any guy would be lucky to go out with. I like girls who are natural and not fake." Ross replied looking me in the eyes.

I studied his face for a second, taking in his golden blonde locks, his perfect jawline, his beautiful hazel eyes and his amazing white toothy smile.

"What?" Ross asked, with a sweet grin on his face.

"It's just...I love you. Jk. When I like a guy, it's for his heart and soul, not looks or money, or fame. I like you a lot Ross. But I love what we have and wow. It's been a few min-" I got cut off by...
