They don´t know about us (A Niall Horan FF)

Chapter 2

Caitlin´sPOV

(3 Weeks later)

My last day at a german school was yesterday (friday). Now we had summer holidays and I had a week left until my dad and I would move over to ireland.

I was about to pack my stuff in boxes and listening to music (Obviously - McFly (link to the right)) as an old picture of my family fell into my hands. I looked over it and a tear started rolling down my cheek as I saw how lucky we all were at that time. My phone buzzed and I layed the picture to the others into the box.

I unlocked my phone and read the text I got from Eliza. (E is for Eliza and C for Caitlin)

E: Hey hon. wanna go swimming?:)

C: you know me! EVERYTIME!!:D

E: I´m at yours in 10!

She didn´t say to much and was 10 minutes later here. I got my bike and we drove to the swimming pool of our town.

We got in and placed or towels under a tree in the back of the lawn. We pulled of our clothes beside our bikinis and went into the water.

In a corner we talked a bit. "So, how´s Jaden?" I smirked. Eliza blushed. "Why should I know that?" "Oh c´mon! You´re in love with him for a year now!" "yeah... maybe... but you know... he doesn´t like me back like this!" "are you blind? That knows everybody!! You both are in love ´with each other but you just don´t realize the other one does!" "Why do you know that?" "Everyone knows! And besides, he told me himself!" "really?" "a hundret percent" she smiled bright and hugged me "thank you" "no problem sweety! Race about 50 metres on three and the looser has to buy the ice cream! ONE! TWO! THREE!" I shouted the last part and swum away before she even could reply.

I won like always and good 3 minutes later Eliza finally finished. "That´s " breath "not" breath "fair!" breath "you" breath "know" breath  "that!" I laughed. "Yep! That´s why I did it!" I laughed even more. I was in a swimming club for a few years now and actually pretty good. "C´mon, I want my ice cream! Hurry up, Eliza!"

After eating that amazing ice cream (I was a big ice cream fan) and a bit break on our towels we decided to make something like bets. The looser has to do something but we choose what before. The bets were something like 'who can make the longest handstand in the water'. We both lost and won a few and than she had to ask a small group of boys if they wanted to buy us ice cream. What?! I was an always hungry, ice cream loving person!

We walked over to them and I just started laughing. They looked pretty confused. Eliza asked them and they actually said 'yes' what caused me to laugh even more. We all got out of the water and went to get the ice cream. Eliza and I buyed it ourselves because we were the nice and lovely people we were. We decided to take our stuff and lay it to the boys´ ones. It was actually a quite nice day and we made great new friends. At the end of the day we had the numbers of Tylor, Ben, Patrick, Sam and Timo, as we found out later. They were quite nice.

Eliza and I went back to my house and decided she would stay over the night. We watched a few movies and ate a lot of candys. In the middle of the night we finally fell asleep.

The next morning  - or shoud I say noon -  we woke up by Elizas ringtone. It was 'Umbrella' by Rihanna.

took an oath, I´ma stick it out to the end

"Eliza make your fucking phone to shut up!"  She just laughed and answered the call.

"hi... yep... yes... can I stay over here for the day?... thank you mum... love you, bye" "let me bet, that was your mum!" "yep!" "I´m good" I smirked and she laughed "you are!"

We got up, went under the shower, got dressed and continued packing my stuff. "I´m gonna miss you so much, Caity!" "I´m gonna miss you, too, but I really wanna move to ireland with my dad! i mean we can skype and call and text and I´m not out of the world! I guess I´m gonna come and visit." "yeah, I know and I really understand you, I mean it´s damn ireland! It´s just I´m gonna miss you so, so, so much, you´re my best friend!" "awww I´m gonna miss you just as much as you do"

We packed everything besides the stuff I´d need the rest of the week until friday. Afterwards we decided to go swimming again for an hour or two.

We met Paul and the others over there and had a lot of fun. Can we just say the boys had a few scars from our nails on their shoulders because of jumping on their backs and dip them underwater...

The next days I went footballing in the park and swimming with the others and playing games or watching tv with my mum in the evening. I wanted to enjoy the last week I´d live in Germany.

And than it suddenly came. Friday morning. The time went by faster than I thought it would. I woke up surprisingly early but I was to nervous to sleep again. I listened a bit music and read. Suddenly it was 10 am and I had my book finished. I got up and went under the shower. 5 minutes later I got out and put on my underwear, bra, sweats and a t-shirt. I went swimming the day before so I didn´t wash my hair that morning. I went into the kitchen to get breakfast. My parents already sat there. We talked a bit and than my dad and I had to go. We got all our stuff and went to the airport. All our boxes were already brought to our new house so we just had a suitcase. I said my goodbye to most of my friends the day before on the surprise party they did for me. On the airport we met Eliza and Paul and I hugged them for ages and a few tears fell down my cheeks. "Aww Caitaaaay, don´t cry!" he said. I smiled and hugged both of them and my mum again. "Flight 756 to Dublin is now bording" came through the bleachers. My dad and I went and I quickly turned around to wave at them one last time before stepping on the plane.

That was it. That was the moment I left my old life behind me and my new life would start...
