My phone kept ringing so i got up and got it. When i looked at the caller id i saw that it was Alexya. Alexya is a 19 year old that i dated. She has a daughter that i still help take care of named Jaylee'Una. I turned my phone off and put it in the closet and got back on the bed.
Key: "babe who was that? And dont lie to me."
Me: "daddy im not gonna lie. It was my ex Alexya. She probably called about Jaylee'Una."
Key: "what does Jaylee'Una have to do with you?"
Me: "i help take care of her. Her dad is a dead beat i stepped i and vowed to take care of her."
I got up and got dressed and grabbed my phone and keys and went outside and called Alexya. She told my that Jaylee got shot and was in the hospital. She said she was in room 405. I got in the car and drove to the Memorial Hospital. I saw Lexy in the waiting room and sat down beside her. I texted Key and told her i was in the hospital and that i would be home tomorrow to get clothes and i would have to leave again. I was trying to figure out who would shoot a 3 year old. Like was you out to get her mom or dad so badly that you had to go after their child. Lexy put her head on my shoulder and cried. When the doctor came out and asked for us we stood up. He said Jaylee lost a lot of blood but they were able to get the bullet out successfully. He told us to follow him to her room. When we got in there she was sleep and connected to a lot of machines. I held Lexy close as she cried even more. I sat on her lap and held her until she said she was hungry and wanted chinese food. I went to china wok and got me shrimp and broccoli and her lo mein and went to walmart to get us some drinks and went back to the hospital. Lexy was in the bathroom when i got back so i waited for her to come out before i went in to wash my hands. She was taking forever so i went in and found her on the floor crying. I sat down beside her and held her. When she stopped crying i sat on her lap and hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. She kissed me on my lips and i just let her. I kissed her back and hugged her tighter. I got up and helped her up and washed my hands so i could eat. When we went back into the room i saw Lexy's mom sitting in the chair looking at us. I spoke but Lexy just started crying again. She was beyond upset and told her mom to leave. I texted Jennifer and told her to bring me 3 of my new outfits and the matching shoes and 2 pairs of pajama shorts and 3 shirts. When she got there i met her at her car and grabbed the stuff and went back up to the room and told Lexy that everything will be paid and that she will get some extra money along with what i give her for Jaylee. We sat down and ate and she didnt cry anymore. When she was done she told me she needed to shower but didnt have any clothes so i gave her the bag and told her to get some shorts and a shirt. I had 2 for her and 1 for me. She asked me to shower with her and i did. I had gotten Jaylee some stuff while i was out and had it in the car. While i was showering with Lexy i couldnt help but notice how much i missed her body. She pulled me out my train of thoughts when she kissed me.
