Seven men were sitting at the middle of a dim light room. They were discussing about something that can change their whole world. Most of them are càoncerned on what's going to happen.

"Say that this thing can be true,  what will we do?" A lady with pink lacy hat asked her companions.

"Of course destroy it. What else can we do?" The man with Blue  long coat said.

"Hey, you're getting ahead of yourselves. We don't even know what this pearl can do. Are you sure we can destroy it?" The youngest of them all with white mask smirked at his elders.

Everybody thought hard after what he said. Everyone is in a dilemma and things are getting complicated as they think deeper of the topic.

"All we can do now is to defend our world. No matter what, we have to save humanity. Existing or not, we need to take caution. Send a letter to every famiglia with a blue ribbon." A lady with long curly white hair ordered a guard.

Minutes after concluding  everything they've talked about, they dismissed everyone.

In the famiglia's side, everyone already had serious faces. Everyone were gathered at Red Suns' guild hall with Hunter at the front.

"Are you sure they aren't just robbers or thieves?" Ara asked in a cold tone. Totally serious on what they're talking about.

"I am. And those guys are after something called black pearl and somehow, they think that we, mages, have it." Hunter explained.

"What's that anyway?" Ore blurted out. At that time, someone knocked apt the guild door. The Red Suns' Master appeared at the front door. A young girl with blazing red hair. Light blue eyes and a porcelain skin. The Goddess of Sun and Stars.

"Everyone, I want you to listen up." She said. The noises stopped and everyone's attention are on her.

"The Guardians of Magic sent us a letter." She raised the letter with a blue ribbon tied on it. The mages started to gasped and some had fear on their faces.

"Blue ribbon? Does that mean our world's in danger?" Leigh said in a low tone.

"Yes. And they're asking help from the mages. I'll read it for all of you." The Guild Master opened the letter.

To all mages under Red Suns,
We, The Guardians of Magic, asks you to lend us your power in this mission. We are sending a request to your guild Master, Celestia, to enter your best mage there is. This journey is to find the Legendary Black Pearl and seal it. Or better, to destroy it. This thing is a big threat to our world. Thank you for your participation. If they succeed, there will be a big reward waiting for them.

P.S Other representatives from other famiglias will be in the journey with your chosen mage. Please cooperate with everyone.

The Guardians of Magic

Silence is the only thing that overwhelms the room. Then everyone started to volunteer. But Celestia hushed them all.

"This is not a joke that everyone could just go. I'll send the experienced and strongest ones in our guild." She ordered.

"I hereby announce that Hunter Wakefield and Rhyme Moonstar will participate in this mission." Celestia announced to everyone.

Rhyme stepped forward with a smug look on her face. But still, she looks kind of a good person.

"I didn't think I would be participating with Hunter. Is he that good?" She mocked with a playful smile. Hunter just scoffed.

After learning the mission, the other mages went to their respective guilds to hear who will be their representative. In the letter, there was something that only the chosen ones could know.

PS.
The meeting place will be at XXX.

Rhyme's POV

A meeting place? So they're really serious about this. Whatever this is, it's totally dangerous for the Guardians of Magic to make a request to destroy it.

Hmm... Another exciting adventure. I wonder who will be my companions except for this scumbag walking beside me.

"I heard that!" He shouted at me even if we're just a meter apart. Oh, I forgot. He is a  mind reader.

"You shouldn't forget something like that." He nonchalantly commented. I rolled my eyes at him.

We're now walking towards the meeting place. The gate is somehow enveloped with a spell that only the wizards who have the legal crests can dispel. I slashed it with my water Magic and we both entered. I saw Arca's backview which means she's in the journey with us.

"Ayo." I tapped her left shoulder. She slightly looked at me then just smiled a little at me. While Hunter already went to the direction of an orange -haired girl.

"Rhyme!  Guess what? We're in this mission together. I hope we can be good friends." A girl with black hair and red outfit shook my hand.

"My name's Ara by the way. Ara fire. You're Rhyme Moonstar right? The Water Goddess?" She playfully said. I just nodded with a sweet smile. We were talking about the mission and everyone's excited and also stressed.

"So every guild needs a representative, huh?" Ara crossed her arms.

"It sure is new." Leigh agreed.

"I can't believe they asked help from us." I added.

"Yeah. I was like The Guardians of Magic asked us help?! What did they eat?! Are they poisoned or something?" Ore reacted.

"Ha-ha funny." I mocked him which made him glare at me.

"Is this even true? Maybe we're just wasting time." Hunter had a serious face on. It was the first time that ---

"Sorry, I'm a little late. Actually, I'm not that late right? You all are just early. Heehee ... " A girl with almost white hair barged in. She keeps on smiling sweetly. Well, she's right. We're minutes early.

"And you are?" Leigh asked while raising her eyebrows at her.

"Aiza Fleejustice. I'm from the Yellow Cross. An A Level Mage and holds the power to control the weather." She introduced herself. This girl is okay. Not too girly not too wild.

"Cool. Now let's continue our meeting." I suggested. Hunter was about to say something when another shout from the door stopped us.

"Gumenasai! I'm late for the meeting!" A girl with pink curly hair covering up to her waist was standing in front of me. She's wiping her sweat and panting really hard.

"Who are you if I may ask?" Ore stepped forward to the girl. I don't like her from the start.

"Sheri Drewblues. I control shadows. From the Orange Chariots famiglia. Nice meeting all of you." She bowed at us. Tss. Pretender.

"Oh well, it's nice having you here too. But we have to continue our meeting. This is a big mission about our world. We need to plan everything." Leigh said with a blank tone. Maybe annoyed of continuous distractions.

"We can't disobey them after all. Or our famiglias will be in trouble." Arca made us realize that this is not an ordinary request mission. The life of humanity rests in our hands.
