"Uhm tomorrow around 6 pm I guess, 6!! Great!! Uh huh mhhh great..it's all good" Rosa says talking to who I asume is someone involved with the escape. She hangs up and approaches me.

So it's set" she says with a huge smile on her face
"What's set?"
"The plan, the escape. I was on the phone with my brother Tyler who lives in Miami and he's willing to help you out, I told him all about you and what's going on and blah blah blah and he says you can live with him till you get on your feet even if it takes a year or so"
"Wait, everything? "
"Yeah. He's a lawyer an-"
I cut her off. "What the fuck!! I want to run away from Chris not get him arrested, I mean why don't you get your sweet little Johnny arrested and leave me out if this. .I think this was a terrible idea I dont even know you. What am I getting myself int-"
She laughs in amusement "Relax Vic. Can you calm down? Please?'
I fold my arms "And why should I?"
She sighs "Because this house is filled with sex crazed men and prostitutes who don't give 2 shits about you and I'm here willing to help you and let you stay with my brother even if I met you 3/4 hours ago and if you over react one more time Johnathan will hear you and will kill you because you have no where to go because you are all alone and so fucking away from home. Vic I'm trying to be nice, really I'm trying and your here being a brat. So are you willing to listen?"
I calm down, my heart is beating like crazy so I nod slowly in agreement "Sorry I just, you know what ..continue"
"Thanks, so I'm not getting Chris arrested trust me Johnathan would be joining him in no time. He's just going to help you with a job and a roof over your head that's it"
"Oh, thank you." I say calmly reaching for a hug patting her in the shoulder "Wait..how come you don't you also run away to your brother with me and I thought you said you had no siblings?"
"I'm a 26 year old woman , I can handle myself. I don't need no super brother to come to my rescue. And to answer your question , when my parents died we got separated and he immediately got adopted by some rich family and the time I was supposed to go to foster care I refused but we still got in touch"
"Does John know about him?"
"Yeah, but when he heard that he was a lawyer his existence was bound to be forgotten"
"Does he know that he lives in Miami?"
"Nope, he last saw him 3 years ago when Tyler still lived here. Never saw him since. And he doesn't know that I still keep in touch with him"
"But hasn't he tried to help you?"
"When I called him he was sad that I wasn't coming with. He tried so much to help me but I keep refusing because at the end if the day I got myself into this and I can get myself out on my own terms and besides I love Johnathan. It's a crazy kind of love but I love him"
"I wish I could say the same about Chris, but after today...things are changing for good and I never wanna see his face again"
"Oh that reminds me, you gotta go"
" What the heck did you just say"
"You gotta go..now"
"Wait..now?"
"Yeah, Chris must be waiting for you"
"Wait, but I thought-"
She finishes my sentence "Thought you were escaping, yeah yeah. You still are. Later on in the day cause now its 2am and he must be missing you. Look don't panic, you don't wanna raise suspicion now do you?" Don't worry Vic, come here and gives me a hug" she says squeezing me "Everything will be alright"
I nod closing my eyes tight trying not to cry.
"Now let's go, John is getting the car ready"
"Ok, help me up"
Rosa takes all the money she gave me and the money I earned and puts it in the sweater I'm wearing. "There we go" she says fixing me up.
We make our way out of the room when one of the guys from the attack comes out of a room zipping his pants and smiles as soon as he sees me
"You up for round two? You know one on one this time" he says with a smirk on his face approaching me.
"Go fuck yourself asshole" I say spitting in his face
"Oh fisty aren't ya" he says wiping his face
"Leave her alone Brian" Rosa exclaimed.
"Alright alright I'm leavin"
"You better" John says from behind " leave her alone she's had a rough night, isn't that right princess"
"Can we just fucking go" Rosa sighs
"Lead the way" John says.

The car ride is quit long and peaceful and I start falling asleep.
"Wake up" Rosa say shaking me
"Are we here already?"
I ask rubbing my eyes and yawning.
"No, we at the gas station, Johnathan is smoking outside and the driver went to go buy coffee. Now look we don't have enough time so take this box inside there's a phone and a charger, nothing fancy but it has games"
"Very funny Rosa"
"I'm kidding" her voice starts getting softer "Put this in your pocket, its already registered. I put my phone number there and I have yours. I will not be calling you only texting you. As soon as you get my text -read it - delete it. If there is any important information just write it down and delete the text, got it?"
"I can never thank you enough Rosa, oh my goodness thank you so much"
"It's ok sweetie"
"But why are you doing all if this?"
"Let's just say you're like the sister I never had and besides your the only one that said they care and for me. That is more than enouge reason to do this for you and we never know, we might end up being great friends.
I give a small smile and go back to sleep so I don't raise suspicion.
The car ride from the gas station to the motel is too quite long and I actually fall asleep.
"Wake up, we're here" Rosa says.
The driver opens the door and Rosa helps me to the entrance of the motel
