It took Princess Mabel and Prince Dipper a couple of hours until they finally reached the giant wooden gates to the Castle Corduroy.
The castle walls were made of large oak trees cut to fit strategically together. The twins mouths fell open in awe.
"Who's there!?" A voice called from the watch tower. Dipper walked up, shaking slightly.
"It is Prince Dipper and Princess Mabel from the Castle Pines. We come with bad news. The Kingdom of Pines has been destroyed by the beast. The beast of fire and destruction," Dipper explained like his father would have. Then a boy with messy red hair and a tooth missing popped up from the watch tower.
"Watch out below!" He shouted before jumping off and into a tree, where he jumped branch to branch to the ground level.
He put out a hand for the twins.
"Names Joseph Corduroy. Son of King Dan and brother of Princess Wendy," he stated as Dipper shook hands.
"So can we come into your kingdom?" Mabel asked smiling from ear to ear. Joseph nodded.
"Hey! Bro!" He shouted to the watch tower.
"What?!"
"Open the gate! We need to come in!" He shouted and the gates began opening. Dipper looked over to his sister and saw her blushing.
They walked into the large village within a wooden shield and towards the castle.
"So, do you know where our relatives live? The Knight Against the Weird Stanford and the Elusive Stanley?" Dipper asked. That was the first time Mabel had ever heard their titles of their Grunkles.
The red haired boy nodded once more. Go to my father's castle and he will call for them."
