Medieval Falls

The twins nodded before walking through the cart strewn street. Dozens of people where selling a variety of goods. From Tad's Bread Cart to McGucket's Buckets. Mabel ran around the street like a kid in a candy store.
"Mabel, cool down. We have to find our Great Uncle's. Mabel puffed her cheeks as she put down a gold bracelet with a shooting star pendant. She started walking away when the salesperson cleared their throat.
"No, child. You don't need to put it down. Show Hand Witch your hands," the woman said, her voice like an opera singer with rocks in her mouth. Mabel cautiously moved her hand towards the 'Hand Witch'.
"Ah. Yes. You can bond good with animals, right?" She stated patting the princesses hand.
"Uh...yeah?" Mabel replied looking nervously at her brother.
"Oh! I see! Here take this bracelet free of charge my friend!" Hand Witch shouted, but in a kind way, handing the piece of jewelry to her.
"Oh really? Thanks! Hey, Dippy! Look what I got!" Mabel ran over to her brother who was far down the street. She shook her hands in front of his face, waving the jingling work of art too close to him for comfort. He flinched back and hit her hand away from his face. He smiled despite his annoyance.
"Come on," he chuckled."
They finally reached the Castle and met two guards.
"Hey! My name's Ma-" Dipper elbowed her.
"Sorry. We are the Prince and princess of Castle Pines. Our kingdom was attacked just yesterday and we came searching for our relatives. They go by the name of-" One guard motioned for them to follow. Dipper frowned in irritation of being interrupted. Mabel skipped behind the buff guard as they went into the depths of the Castle Corduroy. Mabel started humming loudly, further frustrating her brother.
"Mabel," he hissed quietly. "Stop it we are in a castle."
She opened her mouth to retort when a loud boom was heard down the hall. The door swung open and a plume of smoke came out.
"Curse you, combustible lemons," a man with a dark coat on said, practically falling out of his room. He coughed hysterically whole swatting at the smoke that had accumulated in the hallway. He looked down and saw the twins. The guard walked away leaving the three together.
"Dipper? Mabel? It's been so long," he said, a smile appearing on his ash covered face.
