♡Maggie's P.O.V♡

I stood up to change into my robes and looked expectantly at Hermione.

She stood up, gently setting Crookshanks on the seat.

"Oh, for the love of Merlin, Ron! Stop glaring at the cat!"

I exclaimed, sick of Ron's constant glowering at the ginger cat.

He grunted as we exited the compartment.

"So, where's the bathroom, again?" I asked.

Hermione smiled and said,

"That way, come on, Maggie."

I followed her as she walked along the train, passing compartments. Meanwhile, I was lost in thought.

I wonder what house I'll get into.
Anything but Slytherin, Harry says it's horrible.
And I wonder if I'll get a chance to punch that Malfoy Harry has been moaning about for two years straight, he seems like a right Git to me.

We entered the bathroom and I slipped into a cubicle.
I put on the uniform, and then put on my robes. I tucked my wand into my sock and exited.

Hermione was trying to comb her bushy hair, but it was hopeless.

"Need any help?" I smiled

"No, it'll become even more bushy tomorrow anyway, so there's no point." She grinned.

I smiled and looked at my reflection in the mirror. Harry and I weren't that much of polar opposites.

He has black hair and mine Is red.
We're both tall, I guess.
But the only thing that we both have that are absolute duplicates are our startlingly emerald eyes.

I let my hair down from its high ponytail. It flowed into glossy waves to my waist. I turned to Hermione and we both exited.

We sat down again in the compartment in silence, not wanting to disturb 'R.J. Lupin' any further.

It happened very suddenly, actually, one minute I was feeling normal, the next I felt cold. Unhappy and sad.
Then, I heard a scream. A blood-curdling shriek that made the hairs at the back of my neck stand up.

I looked up, a hooded figure had opened the compartment door and was floating. I stared at it, then The sleeping man stood up and said,

"Sirius Black is not here, now begone!"

The thing didn't move ,the man, looking more tired and scarred than ever, pulled out his wand, pointed it at the Thing and muttered something. Something silver shot out of his wand and chased the thing away.

I heard a dull thump. I turned around to find my twin on the ground, twitching. I sat there, frozen. Ron and Hermione and R.J. Lupin were all trying to wake him up. I stood up and crouched down.

My heart was breaking at the sight of his unmoving countenance. I blinked back tears and whispered,

"Wake up Harry, please."

Harry, miraculously, stirred and groggily opened his eyes.

"What happened?" He asked gruffly.

As Hermione explained, I turned to thank the Lupin. He was standing stiffly, his eyes darting from Harry to me as if he had seen a ghost.

"Sir?" I tentatively asked.

"Wha-? I mean, yes?" He said, snapping out of some imaginary trance.

"Thank you for warding off that thing," I said.

"Oh, yes no problem?" He said airly.
He took some chocolate and passed it around, saying it'll make us feel better.

And bloody hell it did.

He explained that those things were Dementors, Azkaban guards who were looking for Black, the escaped mass-murderer.

I shuddered, I couldn't bare the thought of those horrible creatures staying at Hogwarts.

The train stopped and Hermione, Harry and Ron grinned.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"We're home," replied Ron happily
