..there was a canary bird yellow as can be. Lost by its mother; it took months for it to fly and see. The Canary was now alone, as it had to provide for himself day after day. He had to teach himself, in every aspect of every way. There he went! Flying through the air, with every flap and every feather! Now he could see the world forever.

So one day, he decided to search out, and make a new home for himself. He then began to grab branches and make a nest with his beak. He was confident that it would be ever most comfortably neat! Finished, he was tired and ready to rest. Night came, and a ferocious storm blew through and destroyed the Canary's nest. Saddened, he flew upon another tree to make a new one, but this time he made it differently.

Branch after branch, this Little Yellow bird managed to carry and strive. Lightning then struck the tree burning his nest, and now he felt deprived. The Canary lost hope, and flew to a nearby city. There, he began searching for other birds who could feel his pity.

"Can you help find a good nest for me?", the Canary asked a Dove. "Do not be foolish duckling, for there is nothing here for you to see!" responded the Dove.

You see, the Canary felt hopelessly forgotten. But it wasn't long until a Kind Bird saw the Canary, as he was as small as a ball of cotton. This bird was the nicest of them all, as it was a sparrow. He flew right towards the Canary as fast as an arrow!

"Are you lost my friend?", the Sparrow asked the Canary.

"I'm only lost in my heart", responded The Canary.

The Sparrow invited him to his nest, and began to exchange friendship. But the Canary was still sad and began to worry. The Heart of the Canary was ready to give up, until the Sparrow gave him a berry.

"This berry means more than life, my friend. Eat it well, and it will last you till the end!".

Maybe the Canary was not so sad after all! Months had passed, and they had made the Canary strong and Tall! The Sparrow began feeling old of age, and became much more weak. He didn't have much time to live, given maybe a few days or a week.

"My Friend, if I die I want you to keep my nest and make this your home!", but the Canary refused and the Sparrow Assured, "If you don't take my nest, then you will have no home. I would much rather you be happy, than for you to feel alone."

The Canary took this to heart, and started to realize how much he was loved. He didn't let anybody else look at him badly, neither from that mean Dove! After the Kind Sparrow passed away, The Canary looked above. There lied a branch filled with Berries, each filled with Love. He layed them around the nest, fitting like a glove, and realized what he was apart of. Those feelings that he felt deprived of, only lasted a while, but he was happy what he was proud of. It showed the Canary that everyone is special no matter how imperfect they are, and that somewhere deep inside us, lies a magnificent star.

The End.
