Shay and Colette don't agree on basically, anything anymore. Colette, wants another baby, Shay doesn't. Colette thinks that's Shay isn't spending time with the family but he thinks that he is. Shay wants to go explore the world, Colette doesn't.
Now in 2018, Shay is married to a woman named Maria and Colette is married to a guy named Clark. Colette, has custody of Emmi, Brock and Daxton, meanwhile Shay had custody of Gavin and Avia. The five kids don't get to see the opposite parent expect, on weekends and holidays.
The kids are devastated still, to this day, that their family is spilt.
