It's Tuesday and the kids, Clark and my girlfriend, are not around. So, it's just Colette and I spending the day together.

I arrive at the restaurant for brunch and sit down at a table in the corner so nobody would recognize me or see me. It would be wrong to be going out to fine with my ex-wife without our kids. It just doesn't look right for Maria and i's relationship, same with Colettes relationship.

Colette comes and sits down across from me.
"It was nice for you to take me out, after on what has happened." She admits, which makes me crack a smile.
"It's just to, catch up." I lie. I secretly kinda like her again. I fall in love with her big brown eyes and her personality, but somethings off, her weight.

When we were married, she wasn't heavy, she was a twig. But now, she has gained weight. It's weird. Maybe her husband isn't as healthy as I thought.

"So what's going on with your life?" I ask. She smiles.
"Well, I recently found out that I was pregnant." She announces.

That explains the weight....

"You?"
"Well, it's been good. Nothing has really happened, besides the Gavin thing." I said as sighing. She shrugs.
"There's nothing we can do to change that, he just has to learn by himself." She suggests.
"We make a good team." I say with a smile.
"Yes we do."

The 'date' ends and we planned to go on another one next week, during the same time and place.

I get home and Google 'shaytards'.

I start to watch the old family videos we used to make. The crazy, silly, and happy ones. The ones where we were one family, and not two. The ones where another sibling or child had an exciting birthday. Finally, the ones that added another member to our family.

I just want us to be the Shaytards again.

Just one more chance.
