Emmi

I opened my eyes to see my snobby step-sister, Serine. She's thirteen and likes to boss all of her blood siblings around and her step siblings, which is Brock, Daxton and I.

"Cmon, Emila." She yelled. She calls me Emila to annoy me, even though she knows my name is Emmi.
"My name is Emmi, and second of all, why do you have to tell me what to do?" I sass. She rolls her eyes.
"Because I will tell mom, and you will be grounded, peasant." She scoffed.

I forgot to mention, mom married a rich guy. So, there's seven kids living in this house. There's Serine, Scott who's Serines twin, Darin and Mikaela. There's us, Brock, Daxton and I.

When we first moved here, when mom and Clark got married, Serine and Scott was 11, Darin was 8, and Mikaela was 13. I hated it. They were snobs (what am I saying 'were' they still are)' they were rude and their mother left them right after Darin was born, well, that's what I heard. The mother eventually came back, kissed up to Clark, then they got divorced. On the weekends they go to their moms house, like Gavin and Avia.

I just want the family back together again.

"Emmi! Come down for breakfast!" Mom yelled. I trudged downstairs, looking terrible, but I honestly don't care.

I grabbed the eggs and toast mom made and put it onto my plate. I started eating while my phone buzzed.

Avia: dads being so annoying

Avia: he said I'm not being respectful to gavin, and that I should respect his privacy and stuff😂he's so annoying
Emmi: well serine is being a hoe

"Mom! Emmi's on her phone!" Darin yelled. The 'rule', is that we're not able to use our phones at the table. I put my phone under the table and mom shot me a look.
"Emmi Laurie Butler, you've done this too many times." She said sternly.
"But I was texting Avia!" I said. Darin stopped while putting his plate away.
"Wait you mean Avia? How do you know her?" He asked. I smirked. How stupid can you be?

"I'm pretty popular around school, so I know lots of people." I said he made an 'o' face. Rich kids can be so stupid sometimes!
"Ok I'll let you have your phone this time, but next time it's getting taken away." Mom said. I rolled my eyes.

I walked back to my room and plopped onto my bed and started watching YouTube. Avia has a channel and I enjoy watching her videos. This video is about a Q&A she recently did.

"Jess.3567 asks, so do you have a crush or nah?" She pauses. "Well his name is Scott and he's really cute and we are fr-" I slammed my laptop closed. She likes Scott? Scott, my annoying step brother which is also her step brother? Oh no!
