Chapter 4: Playing Games

Alice's POV

"hey Matt" I say as soon as he answers "hey you sound upset" he said and I smiled at how he knew me so well "yeah I just had a fight with Niall and I need some company".

"sure thing let's meet at Stanley's, milkshake on me" I grinned like a child "see you in 10" and then I hung up.

"he's so annoying, I'm his girlfriend he should just friggin trust me" I say and he nods as I take a sip of my shake " do you wanna break up with him?" he asks and I shake my head "no, I adore him but I just want him to trust me more" I said " I think someone needs a hug" he says and I lean in and give in to his embrace, I step back a bit and he looks into my eyes, and he leans for a kiss, I didn't have a chance to stop it before his lips met mine and not even feeling like myself, I let this mistake of a kiss turn into a snogging session "AND YOU WANT ME TO TRUST YOU" I would know that familiar Irish accent anywhere, I break off the kiss to see Niall standing there, his face filled with nothing but anger and disappointment "No NIALL wait" I ran after him but he was long gone before I could catch up.

"nice going Alice" I thought to myself, I go back to the diner and I saw Matt with a sheepish smile on his face "I'm sorry" he apologizes "it's okay, it's my fault" I sink my face into the palm of my hands and tears threatened to fall "sorry Matt but I gotta go" he nods and I gave him a weak smile.

As soon as I walk out I get a text from Niall,

just in case it isn't obvious, we're over

I reread the text just to make sure what I saw was real and I sniffed and started dialling my brothers number, when all seems to fail, he's always there for me.

Jennifer's POV

I was so excited that I was going to France with Alice, we're going to model for Louis Vuitton, it's so sad that Harry won't be able to come and see me model but I don't mind as long as Alice is here.

I was behind the stage with Alice, I was up next and Alice was besides me, an obviously fake smile on her face, she's still upset over the break up, it's a good thing we came here, it might take things off her mind.

I just came back from the cat walk and I nailed it. After the fashion show was over a lot of guys were flirting with me and I was ignoring them until this really hot guy came over and started flirting in an oblivious way though I know he was flirting and I unknowingly flirted back.

I smiled at something he said and I rested my hand on his arm "um Jennifer" I turned around to see Harry and I shrieked and ran up to his arm "you're here, oh my God why didn't you tell me" he shrugged and he looked a bit sad "um I want it to be a surprise but um what was going on here" i gave him a confused look "the flirting" and I rolled my eyes " it was nothing, I didn't even know what I was doing, I was thinking about you the whole time I barley even paid attention to what he was saying" he still didn't look convinced "look I see you flirting with your fans everyday and I stay quiet are you seriously going to judge me now" he pursed his lips and I gaped at him "ugh" I grab Alice's arm and storm out of there.

Alice's POV

I'm back at the hotel with Jennifer and we are watching a movie, she looks upset, Harry is such a bastard, I hate guys.

"Our love life is messed up" she groans and I give her a throaty chuckle "true, but at least you're in a relationship with the person you love, mine broke up with me" I sigh and she patted my back "let's just hope things will get better soon" she says and we get back to watching the movie.

After a few days in Paris we went back to London, we were about to unlock the door to get in when the door to the boys flat flew open so Niall can get out, our eyes connected for a second before he left and I opened the door to our flat and got in "home sweet home" I sigh and take my luggage to my room and Jennifer copies.

Jennifer's POV

Alice had been having a hard time because of the break up. I mean who wouldn't be upset, if I broke up with Harry it would take a year to get over him, after all , Niall was the best thing that happened to Alice.

So I decided to treat myself to a fancy restaurant and have a glass of champagne, maybe have a night out with the girls.

When we arrived to the restaurant we found the boys there together eating laughing and drinking. It was the MOST awkward situation ever! I knew that Alice feels the same way and maybe even much worse!!

Of course Mel and Halie invited them, I got so mad at them because this is going to be the most awkward dinner ever, me and Alice are still mad at them.

Me and Alice didn't eat at all. I had to go to the bathroom every second to avoid Harry. My heart felt like it was burning and I couldn't hide my emotions so I excused myself and ran away trying to hold in my tears.

After Jennifer was gone, the table was so quite. "I'm going after her" lied Alice, she also wanted to hide.

Harry felt miserable. He knew that the tear falling from Jenny's cheeks was because of him.

Jennifer's POV

' we need to talk ' the text said, I checked the ID to make sure, and sure enough it was Haz, my Harry.

' about what? you made it clear in France' I replied and I got a reply instantly ' no, I was jealous Jay Baby' my heart warmed up a bit, he called me Jay Baby no focus Jennifer " I wish Holly was here, she'd know what to do " I said out loud to no one in particular, I was sitting in the living room alone and I hear the quiet sobs of Alice in her room, Haylie and Mel are with Zayn and Liam and Lou is probably with El and .... that's all.

"oh Holly when are you coming?!" I yelled, suddenly the door opened " I'm here no need to yell" HOLLY!!! I quickly ran up to her and gave her a big hug " you're squishing me you moron " she said and I can't help but miss her insults " I MISSED YOU YOU RUDE LITTLE UMPA LOOMPA" I shouted "what the hell is going on here?" exclaimed ALice "oh Hi Holly, enjoyed the free land?" said ALice in a monotone voice, her face was puffy and her eyes are red and glassy "uh yah sure, what happened while I was gone?" Alice and I filled her in with everything, the break up, the fight, Lou.

"Holly?" suddenly a stranger came in "who the hell is this?" Alice says "oh um guys, this is my boyfriend, Chase" her face suddenly turn all red, me and Alice squeal "he's so hot, is Holly blackmailing you? threatening you? is she holding your parents?" Alice blabbers and Holly rolls her eyes and Chase chuckles "no" he simply says "then there must be something wrong with you" she shrugs and then leaves the room "so I have a great idea for you to get Harry back" she winks and I nod "I'm listening"

Harry's POV

We were at the park with Niall,Mel, Liam, Haylie, Zayn and Holly who brought her boyfriend and Lou whom to our surprise brought Elanour, but where are Jennifer and Alice?

"Holly do you know where's Jennifer?" I ask her and she smirks, this doesn't look good "oh yeah she might be late since she's bringing someone to the picnic" her smirk gets bigger, am I the only one who notices?!

" so Chase, have you ever hit a girl?" everyone turn their head to Louis and his weird question which made Chase furrows his eye brows "excuse me?" and Lou just shrugs "just asking, you never know" and Chase nods "I've never laid a harmful finger on a girl" he smiles at Holly "good to know, now where's the food" she licks her lip and rubs her hands together like the evil troll she is.

"hi guys sorry I'm late, this is my friend Ian" the boy looked about 6 ft tall, he had short black hair and brown eyes, he wasn't bad looking "come on Ian, sit next to me" she says and bumps me "sorry" she falsely apologizes and I glare at them, he suddenly whispers something to her and she giggles and slaps his arm playfully.

F**k this will be one long picnic..........
