♧ Aeri POV ♧
"Based on all the evidences I had found, Mr Anderson is now guilty of not only raping a 14 year old girl and also guilty of taking drugs." I said each word with venom, glaring at him. The man who claimed he was innocent a few days ago, was now pleading guilty now.
*The words in bold means they're speaking in English
"I hereby declare that Mr Anderson will be serving life sentence at Hillside Prison Cells." The judge declared and left the courtroom.
Mr Anderson had an emotional breakdown when the guards brought him out of the courtroom and to his new home- prison.
Where he would be spending the rest of his life there.
I looked over at the girl who was the victim in this case. She's only 14, but she has to go through this type of obstacles in life.
She suddenly walked towards me while her parents just stood there side by side, looking at us.
"How are you feeling, Julie?" I asked concerned. "Are you okay?"
She nodded. "I just wanted to say thanks for your help, Miss Aeri. I'm feeling better and better every day now."
I smiled warmly at her. "My pleasure. But are you sure you don't need counselling? I can introduce you to some of my friends who are counsellors." When I asked her if she wanted do go for counselling, she declined my offer though.
She shook her head. "I think I can manage it myself." She assured me with a small smile.
"Fine, but if you need my help or someone to talk to, you'll have my number." I handed her my name card which has my phone number on it. "Call me whenever you need my help. I'll be there for you." I patted her shoulder.
"Okay, Miss Aeri." She nodded.
"Now, go on. You don't want to make your parents wait, would you?" I gave a small push. She smiled brightly at me then jogged over to her parents. They both hugged her tightly before walking away.
"Be strong." I mouthed at her when she turned around to give me one last look.
I was walking to the carpark when a soothing song sounded from my black briefcase.

I grabbed my phone from the briefcase and answered the call without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?"
"Aeri, do you want to have lunch together later? I have something to discuss you with." A deep and husky voice said.
Kim Taehyung.
Just the sound of his voice made me blush.
"Arasso, the usual place?" The usual place is the coffee shop I and Taehyung always eat at during lunch.
"Ne, the usual place. I'll be waiting for you." He ended the call.
Lucky for me, the coffee shop was only a few blocks away from here so he didn't need to wait long for me.
Taehyung's also a barrister like me, but he's a rank higher than me. Turns out, he's also from Korea, like me. We went to the same high school, we were also in the same class. He's friendly, kind and warm to everyone. Since I was a transfer student at the school, the class teacher asked me to sit with him, the class president. We both became friends instantly.
