As I walk in the school gates I can feel stares on me ,well this all started when I saw him. You see I had a friend's group with Olivia Anderson my bestie ,Josh Smith ,Jake O'Neil my crush and Sophie Reed. We all were very close that is until this year started about 2 weeks ago and it was just me ,Josh ,Olivia and Sophie.
*Flashback*
On the first day of school I saw Jake and he smiled at me ,so I smiled back that is until I noticed all the girls around him, so I walked to my first class. In my class I was at the back, when someone came and sat next to me ,I peered through my curtain of hair and saw the boy from this morning. As the bell rung Josh turned up and sat on the other side of me and hugged me. Mrs Brooke came in and started teaching the class ,and I was writing down notes, just as I started I felt a light tap on my shoulder so I looked at the guy and he put his hand out for me.
" hi I'm Jake" he smirked
" Alice" I said whilst shaking his hand. "do you have a pen that I could borrow?" I handed him a pen and finished copying down notes.
*End Flashback *
Jake is now part of the group. But Olivia has detached herself from me.
'Bang'
The loud noise brought me back to the real world and I noticed that Jake was staring at me and Josh laughing so I decided to walk over there. As I got to them Olivia who is dating Josh walked over to Jake and kissed him. So I punched her and broke her nose.
As she fell Josh yelled to her that it was over and Jake pulled me over to him hugging me and trying to calm me down. I stay there for a while, and pulled my head back and noticed that Olivia is gone, and so is Josh so I looked up at Jake and he wiped away my tears with his thumbs.
"Are you okay ally? " He said sadly
" No ,I can't believe that I hit her" I said whilst shaking
"Its not your fault ,why did you hit her anyways?"
The question had me stuck so I decided not to let him know that I like him ,"cause she was dating Josh and she just kissed someone else"
A flash of sadness passsed through his eyes before he covered it " aww so it has nothing to do with the fact that you like me?"
I blushed "umm who told you?"
" no one I just guessed but now that I know that you like me ,would you like to go to the cinemas with me tonight" he smiled a genuine smile
"I would love to"...
