Kanika's Pov

Breathing calmly I tried to even myself.. this guy surely had nerves. I knew that annoying smirk and right now it was taking every ounce of my self restrain to stop myself from punching him

"Will You please stop looking at me that way.. Go inside the washroom. " I tried to sound decent enough

" What if I say, I won't " he walked a little closer making me move back

This irritating SC... language kanika.. calm down

" then I think we should go back " I turned around wanting to run away from him. He was damn intimidating.. well he has always been but earlier it only irritated me but now I was kind of getting... nervous

As I turned around to go, I felt my arm getting yanked back and my back collided with the wall.

Damn you Uday Kapoor.. how dare you

"What The hell.. what are you doing "

" Just trying to make your pea size brain understand that I AM HERE TO TALK TO YOU " his tone was scary.

His chocolate brown orbs looked intensified as he glared at me
" I will say this once and I want you to listen pigtail"

Pigtail???? Like really.. what does he think we are still 10 yr old

I tried to free myself from his grip on my shoulder "Don't you dare call me Pigtail now, I tolerated all your nonsense in childhood but dare you make fun of me now." I whisper shouted at him while we both glared at each other

For a moment, I felt his eyes soften but that softness soon turned into amusement

"Really Pigtail? Did I make fun of you in childhood? I thought that if I called you what you were then you would feel good that's why I called you a 'drum'. Weren't you similar to that back then? " he actually had the nerve to ask me that in forced innocent tone

God please give me enough strength to stop myself from bruising his face

" You know what no matter what you say or do.. the moment I see your God damn face, I get irritated. Why don't you understand that and yes about this whole marriage thing, don't even think that this is anyhow going to take place so leave me now " I hissed at him. If he thinks that I am the same little girl who used to be scared of him then Mr Kapoor.. you are wrong

I don't know what it was.. whether he actually got scared of my words or what.. he immediately let go of me and turned around to go back.

I stood there like... 'What just happened'

Uday entered the living room with a small smile in his face and sat down beside his dad. He had made up his mind and now it was time for action

"Dad, can I ask for something ? "

His father nodded happily and Mrs. Malhotra smiled" Of course beta, do you need anything? "

" Aunty can I please take Kanika out tomorrow, I mean now that we both have to.. you know.. so shouldn't we try to know each other more? "

Mrs Malhotra almost squealed in happiness " Oh my god.. sure Uday, you can take her out. Am so happy that you " she couldn't even complete her words in excitement

But somebody who was listening to all this standing near the door was left...... Flabbergasted.
