The contestants then headed offstage after a successful show as the lights came on and the crowd left. The contestants knew the next part was the meet and greet after the show which had always been a treat for all of them. They all loved meeting their fans after the show. "Hey," Lauren smiled as her mom and Travis walked backstage. "Mama you were weally great," Travis grinned hugging her. "Thank you darling," Lauren smiled hugging him back. "Lauren that really was a great show you sounded so strong....I'm so proud of you," Kristy smiled. "Thanks Mama," Lauren smiled. "Come on Travis...it's past your bed time young man...we need to get back to the hotel," Kristy said. "But I don't wanna weave," Travis pouted. "I'll see you tomorrow baby okay?" Lauren said to him. "Okay...I wove you Mama," Travis said. "I love you too...be good for Grandma," Lauren smiled as they left for the night. Having Travis with her was a huge boost to making her feel so much better. She hated saying goodbye to him just as much as he didn't want to leave her.
"Aww you okay?" Haley asked seeing Lauren looking a little down. "Yeah...my mom just had to take Travis back to the hotel...I hate being away from him so much," Lauren sighed. "Well you'll see him tomorrow before we leave for Miami," Haley smiled. "I guess so," Lauren sighed. "I know it's going to be tough to say goodbye but the Georgia stop is coming up...you'll see him again," Haley smiled. "You're right...." Lauren said wiping her eyes. "Come on we've got some fans to meet," Haley laughed as the contestants headed outside to meet their first crop of fans. They got back to the busses around 1AM. They headed back to the hotel room for tomorrow they would have to be up bright and early to travel to Miami.
7 AM, the alarm went off. "Ugh...." Lauren yawned. "Morning to you too," Haley laughed fixing herself up. "Gosh I'm going to look like crap..." Lauren laughed. "No you won't...let's just do a quick little make up job on you," Haley laughed as she helped Lauren get fixed up. "Haley you are like the queen of this," Lauren laughed. "Hey I had to learn pretty fast since I've been on the road these last couple of months with Postmodern Jukebox," Haley laughed. They headed down to the other contestants for breakfast as Kristy and Travis met them.
"Mama! Hawee!" Travis said excitedly. "Hey buddy! How did you like the show last night?" Haley asked. "It was weally good! You're weally good," Travis grinned. "Aww thank you," Haley smiled hugging him. Travis sat next to Lauren in his booster seat to eat. "Whoa Haley you're actually up at this hour," Casey teased. "Hardy, har har, very funny Casey. I slept well last night...well after we were together," she winked. "I figured," Casey laughed and sat next to Haley. "Ready for Miami?" Haley asked. "Ready as I'll ever be," Casey laughed. Scotty then came down. "Hey Lauren...hey Travis," Scotty smiled sitting by them. "Hi Scotty," Travis smiled. Lauren hadn't told Travis yet that Scotty was his Daddy and that they were getting married. She was going to have to find a way to tell him when they had more time to talk about it.
"Did you have fun last night Travis?" Scotty asked. "Yeah! You were weally good. I like it when you sing with my Mama," Travis smiled. "Well I think we're going to be singing together for a long time huh Lauren?" Scotty laughed. "Definitely," Lauren giggled "Travis...Scotty and I are getting married." "Weally! I weally like Scotty! Does that make him my daddy, " Travis grinned. "Yes it does," Scotty smiled. "I don't beweave it," Travis smiled. "Aww I'm glad he's happy," Lauren giggled. "Travis are you done eating?" Kristy asked. Travis nodded. "Laur...we got to get going..." Kristy sighed as Lauren nodded and hugged Travis tightly, tearing up a bit. "Be good for Grandma Kristy okay? Mama will see you soon," Lauren said fighting back tears. "I will...I wove you Mama," Travis said with a sadness in his voice too. "I love you too baby," Lauren said as Kristy took Travis to the car and Lauren waved goodbye to them, then finally letting herself cry.
"Aww Lauren..." Scotty said hugging her. "Sorry...It's just hard to say goodbye to him," Lauren sighed. "I understand...I just met him and I hate being away from him too," Scotty sighed. "I need to pull myself together before we head off to Miami...the fans don't need to see me crying about this," Lauren said as she wiped away her tears then headed on the bus with the other contestants heading for Miami to perform in front of yet another audience of thousands of fans.
"Hey Haley," Stefano smirked going over to her on the bus. "What do you want," Haley snapped. She was really getting sick of dealing with him. "Nothing I just wanted to say how beautiful you look today," Stefano said. "Thank you I guess..." Haley said rolling her eyes. "Gee Haley you used to be more fun...what happened?" Stefano said. "You did," Haley huffed "Stefano I am seriously not interested in being with you ever again so please just leave me the hell alone and let me move on with my life." "Fine....I'll leave you alone but just know there's something of us that might go viral if you slam me down again...think about," Stefano smirked as he walked off.
There was nothing that he had on her that could go viral. Not that Haley knew of anyway. He was just bluffing to try and force her to get with him and that would never happen. Not as far as Haley was concered. "Hey what's wrong..." Casey frowned. "Stefano..he just was being his usual ass self...what else is new," Haley sighed. "I'm really sorry you have to deal with him Hales....I wish he wasn't on this tour so it'd be easier for you," Casey said. "Thanks...he just like made a threat that if I don't get with him he has something of us that could go viral...he has nothing," Haley said rolling her eyes as Casey seemed to know something she didn't know. She could tell by the look on his face.
"Casey...you know something...." Haley said. "I do...but....I think you're not going to be happy about it..." Casey said. "He has something?" Haley said surprised. "Yeah....and some people have seen it," Casey said almost not wanting to tell her. "Are you serious! Who saw it?" Haley said getting more upset by the minute. "Just some of the Idol guys....I mean it's better than random strangers...." Casey said. "How long ago did he have this damn tape I didn't know about...God I'm oblivous," Haley sighed. "I know it was since the tour at least...." Casey said. "You didn't watch it right?" Haley said in a hopeful tone. "Heck no...I just heard him talking about it," Casey said as Haley looked relieved.
"Ugh if he actually has something on me I can't shoot him down...I'm fucking screwed," Haley said fighting herself not to cry. "Hey...it's going to be okay....I won't let him put anything up like that of you. You don't deserve that Hales," Casey said stroking her hair. "I just need to be alone...." Haley said as she ran off to the bunks and hid out so she could let herself cry so no one would know. She was still fighting with herself not to drink. 'You can handle this on your own Haley....you can,' she tried telling herself to no avail. "Hey James...where do you guys keep the booze on here?" Haley asked making sure she didn't look down or like she had been crying. "Right here," James said as he pointed her in the direction of where to go, oblivious to the fact that Haley had a drinking problem. "Thanks..." Haley smiled taking one...then another...then another.
"Hey, hey...easy on the booze Haley..." James said realizing what he started. "Don't tell me what to do jackass," Haley huffed. "Haley....." James grabbed it off her. "GIVE THAT BACK!" Haley yelled. "No fucking way....Haley it's for your own good," James said. "What is with all the yell...oh Haley," Lauren frowned. realizing exactly what James was trying to do. "Tell him to get it back Lauren," Haley huffed. "No...Haley he's right....you don't want to go down that road again," Lauren sighed. "Can and I do GIVE IT BACK!" Haley yelled again. "Oh geez..." Casey rushed over hearing her yelling. "Haley...calm down," Casey said as Haley started to cry. "They took it away it's not fair...I need it," "Shh....no you don't....Come on let's go," Casey said taking her away from the fridge. She relucktantly went with him. She didn't want to leave but at least Casey wasn't taking it away from her.
"I had no idea she had a problem..." James said. "James...no one did besides me and Casey...Haley only told me a week ago. It's not your fault," Lauren said. "I still feel really guilty...I wouldn't have shown her where the alcohol was..." James said. "I believe you," Lauren smiled. "Thanks Lauren...I'm glad everything worked out with you and Scotty too," James smiled. "Thanks," Lauren smiled. She was worried about her best friend. She had a feeling dealing with Stefano would take it's toll on her but Lauren had no idea exactly how much that would be.
"I'm tired," Haley yawned. "Go to sleep then Hales," Casey chuckled a bit as Haley cuddled up on him. "Casey...I'm really sorry for drinking again....I hate that I disappointed you," Haley slurred falling asleep. "Hales..you didn't disappoint me....You're doing the best you can...it's going to get better soon I promise," Casey said stroking her hair. "Thanks..." Haley smiled as she fell asleep. Casey knew exactly what he had to do next. Stefano was a dead man walking.
