The rest of the concert that night went as smoothly as it could. Haley still felt very uncomfortable singing the song with Stefano and had just wished the producers hadn't thought it was a good idea to pair them up again. The next day was a travel day for the contestants from Miami to Atlanta. Lauren was excited to go back home and have a day to be with her family. Unlike the contestants, Lauren was flying out to Chattanooga so she could drive down to Rossville, which only took about 25 minutes to do. "Hey...Scotty I'm flying out this morning to Chattanooga so I can go back home and see Travis...do you want to come?" Lauren smiled. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," Scotty smiled as he and Lauren headed for the airport. Lauren was headed home in a big way.

Meanwhile on the bus things had calmed down quite a lot for Haley, which she was grateful for. However for Stefano, he had a plan. Leave Haley alone until she started to get back to normal and then get her back. It was the perfect plot but he would make things clear this time that it was a fling. He liked her more than any other girl he had been with and just wasn't over her, which almost never happened for him. He had to use other girls for now to fill the gap of Haley in his heart. He did regret the way things went between him and Haley but what could he do now except make up for what he did in the past.

Lauren and Scotty boarded their plane. Lauren fell asleep during the flight because she was finally at peace. She was going home to see Travis which was always a happy time for her but little did Lauren know there was a lot to be concered about with who was aboard this flight. Scotty smiled down at his sleeping Lauren. It had been such a long time since they had been together that it almost felt like that first night they had cuddled up together way back in Season 10.

Lauren had come in that night to his room. "Scotty...are you up?" she whispered. "I am now," he smiled a bit sitting up. "I can't sleep...I'm so nervous about this week. What if I mess up?" Lauren frowned. "Hey...it's going to be okay....you are amazing and America loves you. No matter what anyone else says, I know you have it in you to be the American Idol," Scotty smiled at her. "Thanks...I needed that," Lauren smiled back. Scotty always knew exactly what to say to get her to stop freaking out. "Hey it's no trouble but could you go back to sleep," Scotty chuckled. "Could you come with me?" Lauren pouted. Scotty had to think about it. 'Nothing is going to happen she just needs you to hold her...it'll be fine,' Scotty had to tell himself. "Sure," he smiled as he took Lauren's hand and headed to her room. They cuddled up. "Thanks Scotty...I love you," Lauren yawned cuddling on him as she fell asleep.

Things of course were much different for them now but the feeling was the same. The nervous excitement of a new part of their relationship. "Okay we have just landed in Chattanooga, Tennessee a couple of minutes ahead of schuedule...I hope you enjoyed your flight," the captain said as the plane landed. "Lala..." Scotty said shaking her awake. "Hmm...Oh we landed great," Lauren smiled sleepily. "Let me help you with your stuff off the plane," Scotty smiled as he helped Lauren with her bags. "Thanks," Lauren smiled as they headed off the plane and drove into Rossville. However, they were not as alone as they thought.

"Well here we are," Lauren giggled pulling into her driveway. "Wow...it's nice," Scotty smiled. "Well it's my mother's house....I think you've been here once," Lauren giggled. "Yeah...when we had that one barbeque," Scotty said. "Yeah," Lauren smiled as Travis came rushing over to them. "Mama! You're home! Hi Daddy," he grinned hugging both Lauren and Scotty. "Hi baby," Lauren giggled. "Well there's no doubt about it, he has your personality," Scotty laughed. "Do you mean to tell me you would never act like that Scotty," Lauren teased. "That's exactly what I'm saying," Scotty laughed as Lauren folded her arms playfully. "Very funny...let's get inside," Scotty laughed. As they all walked into the Ramker house.

"Country stars Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery have a kid? This is gold," the reporter who followed Scotty and Lauren back to Rossville said to herself. There was no doubt in her mind that the child was Scotty and Lauren's child because he was the spitting image of Scotty and had Lauren's personality. The child had called Lauren, mama and Scotty, daddy so there was no mistaking what she had heard. This was going to be everywhere in the next couple of weeks and this reporter couldn't wait to get her dues.

That night was Lauren's hometown concert which her mother and Travis would be in attendance. Kristy had said the whole town was ecstatic to see Lauren and her new boyfriend Scotty live in concert. It had been the talk of Rossville which landed them their second sold out show. Opening night had also been sold out. "I'm glad we can still sell out arenas," Haley teased. "Well Lauren can....I don't know about you Reinhart," Casey teased as Haley hit him playfully and laughed. "Yeah, yeah...we'll see when we get to Chicago," Haley smiled as the show was about to start.

After the first song ended Lauren stayed onstage to more cheers. "Oh my gosh...Hello Georgia," she said as the crowd cheered. "It's so good to be back home.....Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I would like to welcome you all to the American Idols Live Tour 2016! Yeah it's so weird to have this reunion tour with all of these people. Some of them I haven't seen in 5 years...thank you guys for making this all possible by just loving our season so much," Lauren giggled "Well...up first tonight is a friend of mine who I think you all know and you know what...I think he's on a roll...let's hear it for Stefano," Lauren said as she headed offstage as Stefano's song 'I'm On A Roll' began.

"Lauren the crowd love you," Haley laughed. "Right? I don't think I've heard that many screams for me in a really long time," Lauren laughed seeming really happy. "I can already tell this show is going to be something special for you," Haley smiled, happy for her best friend. Lauren deserved all the happiness she could get. "Aww thank you," Lauren smiled just beaming to be back in Georgia with her family. The show's first half went incredibly well. The crowd seemed to enjoy it. They definitely were the most excited whenever Lauren performed on the stage and Lauren seemed to yet again be performing at her best. The girls mashup of Bad Blood and Confident ended the first half. "Okay y'all we're going to take a brief intermission but we'll be right back," Lauren smiled as the crowd cheered as the lights went on. What happened next, nobody could have guessed.
