Chapter 6: Parents...

Three weeks later.

Its been weeks now and Niall & I still haven't told our parents.

We know what will happen, crying, lectures, and fighting.

Obviously something we dont feel like going through but it has to be said sooner then later.

Tonight is Niall's mums birthday and his dad is throwing a party. Were hoping we can get his parents and mine alone, tell them and maybe since there will be other people they will wait to lash out on us.

The car ride there was... silence.

Niall is more nervous then me surprisenly. Honestly i think its because the summer after we became a couple, the conversation i heard him have with my dad.

*FlashBACK*

"You know, I love her more then anything. Shes my world!" Niall said.

" Niall, your in a famous boyband now. I want who's best for my daughter. I am just... Just a little scared that it might change her or you and possible everything will go down hill and ruin a future for her."

" look I see sorta where your coming from... Im not a father so i don't know But trust me i wouldn't let anything like that happen."

"Niall. Your a good kid... Please keep it that way ha. Shes my little girl, keep things slow with her."

"Im starting to think there is other things your worried about..."

My dad looked upset, "... There is Niall! I know she has held hands and kissed boys... But i dont want any more-"

Niall cut him off " No oh gosh no! Trust me, We would not... We wouldnt... No. We wouldnt do anything that would make us parents at barely even 18... I Promise"

"Good... See i always liked you for Lauren, Niall. Ever since you were born."

* flasback over*

Look where we are... 18 and... Pregnant.!

He wasnt saying anything but he got more and more nervous as we drove closer. I could tell the words "... I promise" were running through his mind, probably playing that whole conversation he had with my dad that night.

When we pulled up out front my feelings changed.

I have Niall. I love him with all my heart. He is all i really need.

Niall pov.

I grabbed her hand and kissed her cheek.

"I love you beautiful" i said

"I love you too babe"

We walked into my parents house. Both of us greeted with hugs and "how are you"'s by many of my family members.

When we got in the kitchen mine and her's parents stood there chatting away, with a few of my aunts and uncles.

" oh mum there you are! Happy Birthday!" I said to my mum.

"Oh Niall! My boy ,come here!"

She pulled me into a hug "Thankyou son, i love you"

"I love you too mum"

"Aww and Lauren! Come here you pretty little thing!" My mum exclaimed.

"Happy Birthday Maura!" Lauren said hugging my mum tightly.

As time went on the kitchen got less and less filled. Once dinner was over snd the cake was cut some people started leaving. After much small talk with many family members Lauren and I were done. We couldnt take not telling them.

My grandmother was about to leave when she pulled Lauren and I aside and gave us both a kiss on the cheek. Then, loud enough for our parents to hear, she said "you both are good kids! Now stay that way for a while. Specially you young man, you got a career and a beautiful girl. DONT lose either!

It was like my grandmother knew something...

" umm mum and dad... Bobby and maura?" Lauren asked..

" you two ok... The whole time, you both looked sick and nervous... Everyhing alright?" Said her mum.

I chimed in. I couldnt let my girlfriend go through telling them the words. " guys... Shes pregnant...were going to be parents"

Their faces dropped. And both our mothers were choking up here and there.

Lauren covered her face with her hands and started crying.

I grabbed her and pulled her into me. I rubbed her back and kissed her forehead, "everything with be alright princess" i whispered in her ear.

" what.. How... NO better yet WHY !? Your 18 years old ! Lauren he is famous, you think everything will be ok!! You think your gonna have a "happy little family"!!?? Well your lucky he stuck around this long!!! You changed... YOU BOTH CHANGED!!! Where did our kids go?! Huh? The sweet, good kids we could trust." Her dad yelled.

Dont get me wrong, i respect her father, he is a second father to me. But him saying this to her set me off!

"WHERE DID WE GO!?!? AWAY FROM YOU GUYS!! Were 18, we dont need you guys to side with us or whatever it is you think we want! I know what i want!! Thats for sure! I want Lauren and our child, and thats IT!!! I love her so much and you guys need to see that!!! You know why i didnt leave? Because I ACTUALLY CARE about her and my kid!!! Im never leaving!!!

There was silence for a few seconds. Our parents dumb founded at my outburst. They just looked at us, shaking their heads.

"Lets go Lauren. Were going home." I said.

Lauren grabbed my hand

The last thing i remember before blacking out... Was me punching her dad.
