Chapter 8: life will change...

Niall's pov.

"SURPRISEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Lauren was now 7 months along and we were getting really excited!

The boys and I threw a nice baby shower together, with the help of Dani, Perry and El who are Laurens best best friends and 3 of the boys girlfriends. I figured i would have them help one for that reason and two because El is pregnant now too and probably has done her baby shower research.

When Lauren walked into our house she was genuinely Happy that we surprised her with a shower!

"Aww guys thankyou!!!"

Her and El hugged but barely could since they both got bellys haha. Then Her, dani and perry hugged. Right away the four of them were making us guys take pictures of them.

Lauren walked over to me and kissed my lips.

"Thank you babe, this is a great, thoughtful thing you did for me."

"Your welcome beautiful. I love you"

"I love you too" she whispered as she pulled me into a hug

I decided to invite the mums since we did not exactly get in a fight with them...along with a lot of our family members and some the 1D family crew that Lauren knew.

When presents were opened and food was ate we brought out a cake that was made by Harry... Yea thats right harry! Haha

"YESSS CAKE! Now lets eat it" Lauren said

"Haha you and Niall were really made for eachother,Laur" El said.

Right when we were about to cut it, Laurens Aunt said "wait you have to make a wish on it you two,so your baby has good health... Its a tradition that we have..."

Lauren and I looked at eachother confused but just shrugged our shoulders anyway. My mum put a candle in it and Lauren and I, both blew out the candle. I kissed her cheek and put my hand on her belly as she finally cut the cake and we dug in!

We all just sat around chatting about random things. Our mums came up to us and asked if we could talk... The four of us.

We walked into the spare room where no one was and we took a seat on the two couches.

"Look we dont want to cause problems on a day thats supposed to be happy, but this might be the only time we will see you guys if stuff doesnt get straightned out." Her mum said.

" what is there to straighten out mum? Niall and dad got in a fight, none of you think me and Niall can do this, and obviously dad and bobby arent proud of either of us..."

"Lauren, honey Dad and Niall got in a argument, your father is fine now and i am pretty sure feels terrible. Your father isnt harsh about the situation anymore... And when it comes to not being proud, you really think we should be?... You both were only 18 when you got pregnant..." Her mum replied.

My mum added, "Yea and Niall, your father obviously was not happy to hear that his ... Well to him still, a little boy got a girl pregnant... And Lauren i am sure your father went off on you two because its hard to hear that a guy got your daughter pregnant..."

"We understand that but... I feel like its all going to be different now." I said.

"Hows that?"

"Mum, were having a baby... You think we can go back there and apoligize then all of a sudden BAM a kid is here... Dad or laurens dad dont like the idea of us having a baby so we mine as well just stay away from you guys ..."

Lauren and I looked at eachother

She finally said, "Well what do you want us to do?"

"Take your time... But not to long, just make sure you talk it out with your fathers..." My mum said.

We all got back to the baby shower.

"So Niall how you feel about stepping up and being a Dad?... " asked Loui.

"I am actually really excited!"

"Thats good... Truthfully i am nervous about mine and El's baby coming... I mean like if its a boy i wont know what to do... I grew up with 4 little sisters!"

"Yea thats right lou. Ha watch us have the girl and you two have a boy!"

"Wanna make a bet Horan?"

"Ok Tomlinson! 10 pounds you have the boy and we have the girl!"

"Alright its on! And if we have the girl and you have the boy! I get the 10 pounds!"

We shook hands to make it a deal.

"Look at them El, betting on what gender were gonna have!"

"Its pathetic Lauren! We sit here and carry the child for 9 months and all they do is goof around and make bets on whos having what..."

Lauren and El looked at me and Lou.

"Whats going to happen you ding dongs if Me and El have the same gender?..."

Me and Lou looked at eachother with a i dont know face. That caused everyone there to laugh.

When everyone was leaving we told our mums to tell our dads to stop by tomorrow around 5 and the four of us can talk... Dont know how well it will go but maybe it will work out for the best.

Lauren's pov.

The next evening at around 5 both our fathers showed up. We were definitely really nervous but so far its starting out well.

"Look i think there is one thing we really need to talk about." His dad exclaimed.

"It was obvious to you both that we are not happy about the situation your in..." my dad added, and "Niall i apologise. Really i was stupid that night. Half of this is Lauren's fault too."

We were silent for a few seconds.

"Dad... Look i am sorry, we are a huge disappointment now but you know what... There is nothing we can do now and honestly we are Really excited and..." I looked at Niall, next to me. "I know he will be a great Daddy:)"

Tears started to run down my cheeks and then my dad came next to me and hugged me.

"Its ok sweetie. I am sorry for making you feel like dissapointment.." He said.

We knew that this was a start to everything changing but right now its all felt a little better to me now.

"And yea what you did was disappointing but i could never be disappointed in you for a long time." My dad added.

"Well thank you for understanding now dad...we appreciate it."

When the serious talking was over they started talking about foot ball and stuff. We even talked about old memories.

"Oh you guys wouldn't ever leave each other alone ever since you were toddlers, you both would throw a fit every time it was time to go home for bed. Truthfully i am not surprised that you two are in this situation..." Niall's dad said.

"Ha yea me too bobby! They would make those little forts and they would have sleepovers." My dad added.

"I remember when we were getting to old and you guys wouldn't let us have sleepovers together any more so we would sneak out in the wee hours of the night to be together..." Niall looked at me and added, "thats why i am surprised we didn't start going out till like 16."

"Oh we knew you guys would sneak out and thats why you both were always grounded... I guess we just couldn't keep you two away from each other." His dad replied.

Niall and I laughed at how we used to be but then all the memories flooded back in my mind and it seemed so long ago and even sooo obvious Niall liked me, specially the memories of the things we used to do when we were completely alone...
