"what is that?" I asked my best friend calum who's holding a metal chain-like thing.
"I think it is the friendship bracelet that my sister is talking about" calum replied
I looked at the object with curiosity and raised both my eyebrows at calum who's looking at me while I examine the "bracelet" he's holding
"why don't we just try it.." he said
he took my hand and placed the metal on it and did the same to his hand "see, I told you it's a frienship bracelet" he said to me
"but don't you think it's too big for a bracelet and why is there a keyhole in it?" I asked, still unconvinced that the object is a bracelet.
"honey, the food is ready!! you and calum can go down now." mom yelled
"okay.." I shouted so my mom could hear me
calum and I tried to remove the metal off our hands but it's locked.
"get it off" I said
"I can't.. I'm not strong enough" he replied while trying to pull the object
"what are we going to do?" I asked calum while he is forcing to open the metal but it's no use
"what took you guys so long? the food is ready" mom said as she walked into my room and saw us pulling each others hand off the metallic object.
"where did u get those handcuffs?" mom asked, trying to remove it.
"isn't it a friendship bracelet?" calum asked my mom while we looked at her with curiosity
"no honey, this isn't a bracelet" mom chuckled "now where's the key?" she turned to us and asked
calum and I looked at each other and turned to her "we don't have a key" we both answered
calum and I stayed like that for hours until my dad came home and set both of our hands free from the friendship bracelet that turned out to be a handcuff.

yepp. that happened a long time ago while playing with my best friend. I'm 16 now and I haven't seen him for ages since they move to Australia a long time ago. My mom and calum's mom are best friends and they used to live next door so we know each other since we're little. Calum and I used to call each other when they moved to Australia but after a few weeks, we lost contacts.
well, we were little when we last saw each other so I think he already forgot about me but it's okay bc I have my besties with me.
