CHAPTER NINE

I was standing there, still as if someone has slapped me tight on my face. All the murmurs and sound of the footsteps were not audible to me. He was Elstein! This tour was going to be amazing.

"Don't look at me like that!" He said in between his grins.

"I- I- I- AGHH! You were the one who wanted to meet me and - and you were going to make me a call right? And yes my name! How can I forget that? How do you know" I said in one breath before he interrupted me.

"Woa woa woa! Take a deep breathe and C'mon girl! How can you forget ME? I'm your..." He said and turned his gaze towards the floor. He was blushing!

"You are mine? What!?" My life can never stop bringing horrible surprises for me. Its been half an hour since we met and he says he knows me. Was he my cousin? No he can't be but if he is then, he probably knows my dark side. I was caught unawares. He dropped an enormous bombshell on me! Family was a word for me. Just a word with six alphabets. My shattered family shattered me. There are some thoughts which stick to you like the sunlight and the Sun. They can never get away from each other and if they did then, Sun will have no identity. Sometimes all I want is a rebirth so that  I can beautify my past. Erase all the sorrow and pain and write a new story. But the fallen leaves can never attach themselves to  the tree. They have to turn yellow, they have to decay, and they have to vanish. Leaves from my family tree were lost. In fact the whole tree dried up.

I woke up from my thoughts. Before I could hear his answer something really bad happened. The next thing which happened made me struck dumb. I was rooted to the spot and so was Elstein.

Boom!

I smacked into him. Yes! I slammed into Arsen, the so called bad boy of our school. *Slow claps*

The person most hated by Crimson. Sixty percent of the time she told me about his jerkiness while I hanged out with her. He was a successful rich spoiled. He was wearing ripped jeans, and a black band shirt. Obviously he was handsome, no denying in that. His sleek black hair, strong jaw and deep grey eyes that seemed to make every girl melt right under his stare. In Crimson's words his hobby was breaking hearts. I saw him many a times, cuddling with cheerleaders. Badass!

"I'm.. Sorry?" I said. He was giving a death stare with a weird smile as if I just pulled one of his cheerleader's skirt. Suddenly, his expression changed as if something just dropped in that dirty mind of his.

"Oh look who's here! My lady,
I've been everywhere, man

He started singing "where have you been" by Rihanna. He was sounding like he had a frog in his throat and I felt like dragging my fingernails on the chalk board. (Worst feeling ever)

"His eyes are cold and crazy. I can't concentrate on everything at once. I'm slipping on my own guts." Elstein whispered in my ears. All of my control and smirk because of his singing converted into hyperventilation. I could feel the pain in my abdomen. I wasn't able to breath. Watching me laugh even Elstein started laughing. We knew that this was our first step towards the danger zone. After rolling on the floor laughing we both realised that his gang was all around staring at us. We both managed to control and stood up.

"Brother, I love you voice. It felt as if someone broke your flute into two." Elstein said. He mocked the bad boy. My instincts were shouting from inside that something very bad was going to happen.

“You.” Arsen's voice dripped with hatred, as he looked Elstein in the eye with a stabbing glare. He was walking towards us while his gang was watching.

I said, "Elstein we should go!" But he was not listening to me.

"Step away, my lady." Arsen said.

"Shut your holes ,you jerk." Another mistake.

He was standing in front of us and all I can remember is the ending scene of bad blood video by Taylor swift. The only different was that Elstein was alone on his side wile Arsen was standing with his demon army.

Elstein pushed me away and kicked him on his chest. He was on the ground. I was surprised to see that his gang was just watching. The rage in Arsen's eyes made him stand up and he punched Elstein straight on his nose. Ouch!
 
"Fuck off! You bullshit." Before I could take a step Crimson arrived there. Everyone turned there gaze towards her. I rushed towards Elstein whose nose was bleeding. I was scared to core.

"STAY AWAY FROM US. YOU GET THAT?" Crimson screamed on him. I wanted to capture that moment. Looking at his face, Arsen was blank. He was looking at her as if trying to remember something.

" You're the light, you're the night
You're the color of my blood
You're the cure, you're the pain
You're the only thing I wanna touch
Never knew that it could mean so much, so much" He started singing in his frog stuck voice. "Love me like you do" by Ellie Goulding. Seriously?

"Now just wait and watch. Something really great is going to happen!" Elstein said standing beside me.

And it really did. Tears were dripping out from Crimson's eyes and she slapped him on his face and to my surprise she started singing too, "And who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Who do you think you are?"

"Goodness gracious! Elstein think of a song! Even I want to sing!" I said while jumping on my toes.

"Do I look like a Jukebox?" *death stare*

Crimson started running towards the canteen and Elstein and I ran towards Arsen. His face was all hurt and puzzled. He was giving us a perplexed look.

Elstein started singing and I joined him,
"When the night is cold and you feel like no-one knows
what it's like to be the only one buried in this hole
You can make it to the sunrise.

(Woah. Woah. Woah.)" We both sniggered and ran towards the canteen.
